I chose this space for my baby shower because I loved the blank canvas aesthetic. At the time I was booking, they were running to specials, a $200 new customer discount and an end of the year special. The End of the Year special was a better deal, so I inquired with the owner if I could use that even though my event was in February. The owner declined (which was completely fine), but offered a $300 if I booked the same day after my tour...which I did. In hindsight, there were red flags I should have paid more attention to when booking. During the tour of the venue we saw a bug on the floor and the chairs looked dirty. I brushed it off as a one-time issue. Unfortunately, that just foreshadowed my experience that was to come. When we arrived at our contracted time of 9:00AM on the day of the shower, the venue smelled like bleach, yet was still dirty from the night before. My family spent a SIGNIFICANT amount of time cleaning tables and chairs before they could even start setting up. Several chairs were also damaged upon my family's arrival -- something the owner tried to blame on my family at the end of the event. We also experienced electrical issues with this venue. My DJ arrived around 12PM noon to begin her set up and we learned shortly after that all the outlets on one side of the venue did not work. After spending a large amount of time trying to troubleshoot, I had to call the owner TWICE to ask her to come troubleshoot. She arrived just before 1PM to start troubleshooting while guests were already arriving. This further delayed the start of my event. Although the venue advertises it can hold over 100 people, we had approximately 80 guests and the space felt very crowded and hot. At one point, my husband had to ask the owner -- who was sitting in her car outside the venue -- to turn off the heat completely because of how uncomfortable both myself and my guests were. This was in February on a day it was snowing -- it was so hot we did not want heat in the middle of winter. When we brought our concerns to the owners, they became argumentative and placed blame on us rather than taking accountability. She offered NO meaningful resolution. When I requested a $200 refund due to the multiple issues (less than one hour of the rental rate) the owner refused, said I shouldn't get anything since she already gave me a $300 discount when booking, and finally offered a mere $50. As a new business, customer service and accountability are critical. While the venue photographed beautifully, the lack of professionalism, cleanliness, and lack of support on the day of my event left a lasting negative impression.

We had the stuffed hen breast, crab cake, mixed vegetables and roasted potatoes. The crab cake was dry and not seasoned served with cocktail sauce which was a no no! It would have been better with a lemon dill or hollandaise sauce. The stuffed hen was dry too and last season. Now I will say our event was delayed due to the weather which could cause food to be dry but the lack of season that was caused by not adding enough. The desserts were pretty good. One of the reasons we booked this venue is because it's literally a one stop shop. They do the catering, the cake, the tablecloths/place setting, bar, the set-up and clean-up! The Villa provides a day-of planner, which she was absolutely helpful and knowledgeable, but I wanted someone who knew me personally to advocate for me. It's just good to have someone that knows you or will advocate for you when you need them. I had a few hiccups during my wedding day and expressed my concerns to management the day after. The professionalism and courtesy they provided us was extremely appreciative. From start to finish, my wedding coordinator explained everything, responded to all 5 million of my emails - in a very timely manner. Anything we were confused or didn't understand, was thoroughly explained. My original coordinator left her position, but Tracy stepped right in with both feet on the ground. If you're on the fence, give this venue a try. We had our wedding in the tent, which I believe is called the Renaissance Room. The location was perfect, the serving staff were awesome and we just had a knock down, drag out time! People are still talking about my perfect day!
