Unfortunately I am very texture sensitive so it kind of blows it for me. Also, need to get some kind of online ordering. It gets very hot in summer. Now that they have good shrimp rolls and I've always had the grilled cheese which is always a favorite. There's always something on the menu that I can eat. And they are very okay with constructive criticism. The one time I had an issue with my grilled cheese they hooked me up next time and I have never had an issue again. The thai mac n cheese have the weirdest description but are fabulous. The service is always great and the prices are reasonable. I appreciate them whenever they come out and I will continue to recommend them.

The line for this place was ridiculous, which is a good thing!!! I am glad I waited!!! I had the New Orleans which was salami, capicola, monterrey jack, olive tampenade, and a red wine sauce type thing. It. was. phenomenal. The bread was fantastic and the tampenade had a really great flavor. My dad had the Mexico without sour cream and said it was really great (and for my dad to say that about a sandwich without meat is extremely impressive!). My only problem with the food is that they kept running out while we were in line!!! haha :) But again, we were very happy with our sandwiches!!! Highly recommend!

I was excited to see that they have veggie dogs available, and the different topping combos sounded awesome. I ordered the Justice with a veggie dog (coleslaw, mustard and onion) and my fiancé ordered a Schnitzel (sauerkraut, mustard, onions) and a Tex (chili, cheddar, onions) with regular beef hot dogs. Mine came out with coleslaw and a pickle, and my veggie dog looked like it hadn't even touched the grill. Microwaved, maybe? It was only slightly warm in the middle. His dogs were also lukewarm at best, but they did have the right toppings. Two stars because it wasn't inedible, but I like my hot dogs hot.

I went in here on my lunch break…read more I ordered a brisket plate. When he asked me about barbecue sauce, I gave him my choice and told him I wanted it on the side. Despite that my meal came saturated in barbecue sauce. Furthermore, when I pay $22 for a brisket sandwich platter. I expect sliced brisket. This was like shredded beef. There isn't much meat on the sandwich and the meat that is there is so drowned and sauce that you can't even taste the flavor. The two stars are for the service. They were very fast. But I couldn't even get ice for my drink so there's that.... the mac & cheese is decent and so was the coleslaw, but when I pay that kind of money for brisket, I want a sliced brisket sandwich, not shredded meat

My first visit to that location led to many more when I lived in the area. I have been spending time at St Charles Hospital and on a "lunch break" yesterday afternoon, I was driving on Navarre Ave trying to figure out what would hit the spot. That is when I remembered Deet's now has a location on Navarre, not far from St Charles. I enjoyed the Big Pete sandwich (massive) and some peach cobbler. Both were very delicious and fairly priced. By all the trophies on display, Deet's is still knocking it out of the park with their BBQ. The store was very clean and orderly. I was promptly met at the counter to make my order by a friendly, courteous staff member. Well done...

I was very intrigued with the idea of a pretzel calzone. Although, I admit I am a bit of a snob for both calzones and pretzels having high expectations for either. You can imagine the lines were long, but the people manning Manny's Munchies that day, they put that food out hot and quick! I ordered a Pepperoni Pizza Pretzel Calzone for myself, a Buffalo Chicken Calzone for my brother, and some pretzel nuggets. Once we got them we sat to enjoy them. The calzones were crunchy, well seasoned, and delicious. My brother said his had the right amount of heat. We devoured them! We then tried the pretzel nuggets and remarked these two were perfect as they had the right amount of salt. Thinking about them now, makes me hungry and wish I could have another. If you see this food truck pull up to an event or your place of work, you gotta have some!
