Unfortunately I usually don't have time…read moreduring my lunch to head out to one! :( Hence my excitement for the Toledo Food Truck Festival! The line for this place was ridiculous, which is a good thing!!! I am glad I waited!!! I had the New Orleans which was salami, capicola, monterrey jack, olive tampenade, and a red wine sauce type thing. It. was. phenomenal. The bread was fantastic and the tampenade had a really great flavor. My dad had the Mexico without sour cream and said it was really great (and for my dad to say that about a sandwich without meat is extremely impressive!). My only problem with the food is that they kept running out while we were in line!!! haha :) But again, we were very happy with our sandwiches!!! Highly recommend!

I was excited to see that they have veggie dogs available, and the different topping combos sounded awesome. I ordered the Justice with a veggie dog (coleslaw, mustard and onion) and my fiancé ordered a Schnitzel (sauerkraut, mustard, onions) and a Tex (chili, cheddar, onions) with regular beef hot dogs. Mine came out with coleslaw and a pickle, and my veggie dog looked like it hadn't even touched the grill. Microwaved, maybe? It was only slightly warm in the middle. His dogs were also lukewarm at best, but they did have the right toppings. Two stars because it wasn't inedible, but I like my hot dogs hot.

Just noticed this truck outside my local coffee shop and decided to go for lunch!…read more There are sweet crepes, savory crepes, and tacos. I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed the tacos. We got lemon berry, pesto chicken crepe, chicken tacos, and chorizo tacos. The people were really nice! I saw ppl ordering and then eating inside the coffee shop with mimosas. Smart! Lemon berry was really good. Enjoy that tiny tart kick from the lemon. Chicken pesto wasn't my favorite. Which I was sad bc I love pesto. But gotta say was didn't enjoy the pesto and there was a lot of it. Loved both the tacos. They melt the cheese onto the shell and that was delicious. The second time I went I got the sweet potato tacos and really liked it. Great flavor and sweet.

They have a solid menu of savory and sweet crepes, with an option to customize. I always go straight for the sugar, so I got the mini lemon blueberry. It was fantastic! The lemon was a great blend of tart and sweet. I was very impressed with the size of it, especially considering it was a mini. A regular would have been huge. I'm sad that they're not based in Columbus because I'd be hitting them up on the regular! Besides the five star crepes, the employees were super nice! The man taking my order was so friendly and all around happy. He was excited with each customer and gave off such positive vibes. What an awesome food truck!

Located in a little food cart at the intersection of Bancroft and Ashland, Antojitos Laredo is serving killer Mexican at low prices appropriate for the neighborhood it's in. I believe they haul the cart away at night, so if you drive by and don't see it, don't worry... it will be back. Soft tacos with all of the toppings are delicioso! The pork tamales are great! The hot sauce is yummy, complex and REALLY hot! Warning, they don't sell individual tamales, so you'll have to commit to at least 6. Which in my opinion, is a good problem to have. The location is a little odd at first, but there is some great people watching as the Ashland / Bancroft intersection sees a lot of traffic. It's located right next to the brand spanking new Dollar General store, and across the street from that dodgy gas station. 5 stars for a taco truck in the hood? You betcha. This place is legit, and so so close to my house I know it's going to be the death of me. But if this is how I am going to die, I am going to die a happy man.

I loved the paprika and sour cream sauce. I ordered the roast beef sliders with the horseradish aioli on the side. They were amazing! I wish I could cook roast beef like these sliders. We ordered the Lemon Strudel with ice cream for dessert. I loved the signed buns hanging on the walls. Fun decor! I am glad that I was able to come here for the very first time.

Lauri laughs when I say it smells like Ohio when walking in; woody and old and alive in all its dim lighting and kitsch. tables are nice for groups but it's just us so we sit at the bar and we get a Packo's Feast plus an extra cabbage roll - we're here catching up so 'food' was more of a place for meeting than a reason, but get an extra cabbage just the same. hand rolled seasonal beefs and porks and rice wrapped in cabbages and simmered in a thick tomatoey sauce, plated lightly sauced with hot pickles on the side - man these are good. the hot dogs are more like smoke sausage than weiners and split because that's how it's done; plus onions, kraut, and yellow mustard (just like god intended) under a generous slather of dog sauce plus hot pickles on the side. cup of chili comes with an equal amount of baby oyster crackers in second a bowl. now i shall spend the afternoon musing on a simpler place in time. the last law of thermodynamics states that food is cold at the same temperature where beer is warm. but good food will still be good at room temperature or even out of the fridge (a few items test the hypothesis but don't break it) so sit and talk and listen, the food will still be there and still be good...
