I definitely needed to de-stress on this day after getting into a minor car accident earlier that morning. INSIDE -- The space is very warm and inviting just similar to a Spa. When you enter, you will be greeted by a staff member at the front desk. There are numerous chairs to sit at in the lobby. There is also a water/tea station right at the front as you enter. In addition, you can remove your shoes and jacket at the front entrance. There is also a back entrance as well because the front outside gets congested from parked cars. SERVICES/TREATMENTS -- If you enjoy fitness, then a small gym is available for use before or after a wellness service. Private personal trainers train clients inside this gym so you can book a personal training session. For services, they offer CRYOTHERAPY, INFRARED SAUNAS, SALT THERAPY, NUCALM NEUROSCIENCE THERAPY, MASSAGE & COMPRESSION CHAIRS, WHOLE BODY VIBRATION (a small machine located in the gym), and more new services coming in 2020. Thanks to Yelp and being a Yelp Elite member, I got to try 2 services for free -- the massage chair and the salt cabin. I highly recommend the massage chair because it is zero gravity meaning the chair reclines back plus it really deeply massages the lower and mid-body. The salt cabin treatment felt okay to me because I was just bored inside plus it was really cold in there. However, there are benefits to salt therapy including helping with skin problems, inflammation, and removing mucous from the lungs. SAUNA -- Benefits include relaxation and detoxification. They have 2 sauna rooms. In my most recent visit, I paid for a sauna treatment which is $20 for non-members or 1 credit for members. Basically, 1 credit equals $20. Now $20 may be too expensive for some people but taking care of your body shouldn't come as a price; rather, a reward. Before entering the sauna, a staff member asked if I wanted electrolyte infused water so I gladly accepted a cup. It's important to hydrate before, during, and after entering a sauna to replenish water lost through sweat. I enjoyed the infrared sauna and the heat (135F) didn't bother me. Infact, I wished it was hotter....haha. Before I walked in, a staff member asked me what program I wanted and I believe I choose "detoxification". See my attached photos for a description of their sauna programs. Once inside, I sat then laid down while glancing through a book. There is a remote inside that allows you to adjust the light. The different coloured light settings are supposed to help the body in many ways. After getting out of the sauna, there is a mini-fridge that has a eucalyptus infused towel for cooling off. It felt nice to wrap the small towel around my neck and pat it on my chest. I highly recommend the sauna and massage chair. Visit Reset Lounge today located in quaint Chagrin Falls. It is a casual, relaxed atmosphere, no snooty spa vibes here. They do take walk ins but space in the Salt Cave is limited so it's best to reserve a spot. Be sure to get there early as there is a brief form to fill out and some Coolio salt domes to rest your feet on as you wait. These are heated and feel soooo great on the tootsies. You can shop a bit as well because they offer all sorts of Himalayan salt products at Oh So Reasonable prices. I really felt the whole place was set up to offer the benefits of the salt to others...not to gouge you for money. Staff is enthusiastic about what they do and more than willing to explain or answer any questions you may have. The woman at the front desk had us try a salt scrub on our hands. It was marvelous! There is a little fountain with rocks that you rinse your hands in. So Zen and beautiful. We haven't even entered the cave yet! Fast forward to cave dwelling. We were given blue surgical booties to put on over our socks, they recommend white on the website FAQ section, and a cap to protect our hair. As we entered the cave we walk through a thick, luxurious layer of loose salt covering the floor. You can scoop some up and play with it or move your feet in it like sand at the beach. No touching the walls or cave outcropping please. The ceiling is designed to look like a cave roof with lots of tiny stalactite formations surrounded by sparkling twinkle lights. The lights move from blue to green to red to yellow. Gorgeous and mesmerizing. There are several zero gravity lounge chairs to choose from including some couple chairs if you come with a significant other. Each chair is padded with a cozy blanket type cover and there are light, super soft blankets on each chair if you get chilled. The room was a comfortable temperature. They tell you to wear comfortable clothes. Other than the twinkle lights there are several salt lamps placed in cave nooks throughout the room and the cave wall is backlit. It's very peaceful and comforting. The ceiling is not so low as to be claustrophobic. Most any adult can walk upright inside. An attendant comes in and explains the basis of the salt therapy and what to expect. Each participant received two salt balls that were heated and could be held in your hands or placed behind your neck. I put one under a sore knee that had been bothering me. The door is closed and New Age relaxation music is piped in. You can hear the salt ionizer cycling but it is a soft sound. We were instructed to breathe deeply to get the best results. The salt ions are invisible. You can't see or feel them. There is no talking in the cave. 45 minutes later the attendant returns to let you out. Exit prior to that time for emergency only please. Water is provided and the woman at the desk talks with you about the experience. They offer package rates and private booth treatments. You can book the room for a private session with enough people. They seemed pretty busy as a group was there when we arrived and another was waiting as we left. I definitely recommend the experience. Good for respiratory and skin issues. I had a scratchy throat for about a week prior and it was clear the next day.

In the past I've mainly purchased herbal teas and remedies (fantastic selection, all organic and fair-sourced, great prices), but also occassionally picked up books, candles, incense, hand-crafted jewelry, and the like. I hear good things about the many classes they offer but haven't yet had the chance to sit in on one. They also have frequent events like psychic fairs with multiple readers on site. Again, I've never availed myself of these, but have been around when a couple of them have been going on. The definite sense I got was that people were enjoying and appreciating them. I'm happy to say that I did avail myself today of some new (for me) A Creative ApothaCare services, and I couldn't be happier. I purchased a package deal for time in first their infra-red sauna, followed by their salt cave. It was epic - and also therapeutic, insanely relaxing, and happily very affordable. I will certainly be back for more of the same. I understand also that ACA will soon have a sensory float tank up and running. I definitely want to check that out, and will post an update here when I do. A Creative ApothaCare - I just can't recommend this place enough. It was sooooo relaxing I think I could stay in there all day! When you arrive for your appointment they will give you booties to put on over your socks and a hair net for your hair. There are cubbies for your personal belongings and then they take you back. My daughter and I went together so we were in the large group room. It's so relaxing. There are reclining chairs (like beach chairs) and you can sit in them or if you want you can actually sit in the salt. The rooms floor is covered in salt and it's heated. Rhyan actually laid in it for the first part of our session. The room is so peaceful and there is salt pumped in through the air as well. They give you a blanket and bring you two incredibly warm salt stones. Rhyan used hers on her back, I placed on my lower back and one under my neck while I stretched out in the chair. I'm pretty sure within 10 min I was totally zoned out and was able to really just almost feel the tension releasing from my body. After relaxing in the salt for a while Rhyan curled up in a chair and fell asleep. We both agreed afterwards that our sinuses felt much better and we were very relaxed. We plan to make this a weekly thing before her voice lessons just to de stress and open our sinuses and our senses! You can purchase all sorts of salt lamps and goodies in the lobby, too! Went twice to the salt cave and spoke to Julie about the halotherapy that appeared to not be working properly. Told me that she cleaned it, but it still was not putting out any mist. Waste of money and the music in the salt cave was way too loud. I will return to 'Inner Whispers' on Hills and Dales for the halotherapy (which is GREAT and you can actually feel the mist. And plus they have other modalities there and the energy throughout the place is INCREDIBLE). If they had a different person running Mystic Float their business might pick up, but unfortunately Julie does not have the right energy, temperament, or attitude for a wellness center.
