Okay, this is a really convenient gym. For those of us that live in the Soulard/Lafayette/Benton…read morePark area, this is the closest one you'll find without having to drive 10+ minutes, and if you're like me, if I don't have a spot around the corner I'm probably not going to go. This place is freaking HUGE and has SO MUCH EQUIPMENT. They have plenty of treadmills in multiple locations (you're nervous about being in the open? No problem they have some in a back room), but I'm more into weights - I love that they have every type of weight to choose from, plenty of racks, AND they have so many individual pieces of equipment. Sometimes free weights/racks make me nervous, so having individual machines is freaking awesome and the ease of use is so much better. They have multiple spaces, including a back room that is pretty secluded which is perfect for new people/for stretching. They also have balls, steps, small weights, etc back there. They truly are an all encompassing gym. My only complaint (some people don't care about this) - it is very overwhelming for women AND for those of us that aren't SUPER fit. I will not come in here without my fiancé because I'm too nervous haha! It's....a lot. There's a lot of really fit people and coming from a small planet fitness, this is a lot to take in. Overall, great location. The equipment seems to be kept up nicely, and there's something for everyone.

Ohhhhh my goodness! Where do I start ?!!…read more This is now one of my favorite franchises in the U.S. . They've got it ALL. Everything you need to feel great and smash fitness goals all while having a great time . This studio is tucked into the foundry and we all know location is king . Total vibe walking in & I was immediately greeted by Lisa who took excellent care of me during check in , tour , class set up and what to expect . Lisa let me know she was also going to be the instructor. Lisa's experience is immediately recognized as soon as class starts and her cues and modifications are on point ! I must say she's also in GREAT shape and it's always motivating to have a strong instructor. I love the variety of heated and non heated classes , multiple rooms , amenities and strong sense of community here . Each room has its own name and its own vibe . Cycling , Boxing , Fitness, Pilates, battle ropes , barre , Yoga and a brand new recovery room with sauna and cold plunge ! The showers are a huge plus , especially after heated barefoot kettlebell bootcamp . I would absolutely be back ! As a traveler , the only con is this location is not available on the class pass app like other locations in the U.S.

Great exercise classes at a competitive price…read more I joined TruFusion a few months ago and have been going to several of their classes on a weekly basis. The price is around $115 per month and I started on one of their holiday deals which were super affordable ($1 per month!). It's definitely more affordable than other options in the area. They have a variety of classes like Pilates, HIIT, cycling, boxing. And many of their classes are heated which definitely gives an added challenge. They have good parking and a decent spread of classes at different times. The instructors have all been great, there hasn't been one I don't like. The staff has always been professional and accommodating here. The music during the classes can be pretty loud so that's one thing to be aware of before you come. I'm very happy with my membership and would recommend it to people looking for an affordable, engaging, and motivating exercise membership.

I did not have that experience, the guy at the front desk was very helpful. I was visiting WashU so he helped me sign up for a free trial. They also have free lifting for high school students with IDs over the summer. These are all positives. The bathrooms are clean. One downside is they do not have squat racks. Everything is based on the Smith machines (see photo). Of which there are 5. Maybe this is a characteristic of Planet Fitness but not sure. They do have plenty of dumbbells. It wasn't crowded so there was no competition for machines or weights. I definitely go against the bad staff perception here

Today completely changed my experience. While I was inside working out, someone's vehicle was stolen and my car window was smashed. I've now been waiting over 2.5 hours for police, and there has been no manager on-site and no security patrolling the property. What's most concerning is the lack of urgency or care. It honestly feels like situations like this are just accepted here. Members are left completely vulnerable, especially during early morning hours. A gym should be a place where you feel safe, not somewhere you walk out to find your car damaged. This was unacceptable. I will be canceling my membership immediately, and I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Float STL - Midtown is located off Locust Street where there's metered street parking. This was a…read morelate birthday treat for my dad, and he had never been prior to this. My last visit was in 2023 for my birthday. Upon entering, you are met with the soothing smells of a spa. The best way I can describe it is like the smell of a Hilton Hotel hallway. You have to take off your shoes and leave them at the door, so don't be like me and wear flip-flops, because otherwise you will be barefoot on the floor. Our guide was Jesus, who was very peaceful, kind, and explained everything to us. He even was able to give me booties I could wear, although he stated that their floors are very clean. He was barefoot himself. I believe him, but I am super paranoid. Anyway, they had a few additions to the spa since my last visit, such as an infrared sauna, a cold plunge tank, and zero-gravity massage chairs. He gave us a tour of these offerings after we consumed our tea. After we used the restrooms, he gave us a tour of our pods. I felt like Jesus did a wonderful job of explaining to my father how to enter and exit the pod and making sure he had what he needed prior to entering so that he could enjoy his experience. You have to take a shower before you enter and after you exit the pod. Lights and music are optional, as is closing your pod versus leaving it open. There is a bottle of fresh water to spray on your face should salty water get near your eyes. With the salt volume, you shouldn't get salt in your eyes unless you fall asleep in there and turn really fast like you're in bed or in a rotisserie oven. They also provide earplugs to keep the water out and petroleum jelly should you have minor open cuts. The water should only come up to your chin or right below your ear when you're on your back. There is a halo you can rest your head on if you can't trust your head to stay afloat (which it will). They have monthly membership packages should you want to self-care each month as well. After our session, we had another cup of tea and then had some brunch. Let me not forget their powder room has just about anything you could need after such a relaxing experience and their hair conditioner loves my curls! I have always enjoyed my experiences at this location and in Maryland Heights. They have amazing guides and create such a curated experience for their guests.
