I love, love, love this place and all of the people who work here! I live in Sacramento and save my pennies to come down here several times a year to search the racks for amazing treasures. The staff here is absolutely worth the return trip. They are ridiculously helpful, always complimentary, and fun to hang out with. The owner definitely has an eye for talent as well as style and design. I come here if I'm looking for a specific event outfit, travel clothes, or just want to feel good about myself. The inventory is quality clothes with varied styles and amazing colors that I just can't find anywhere else. They are a bit pricey, but the quality is there and the pieces are unique and will last. I was walking around Sonoma and I decided to go into the shop. I loved all the clothes. I wanted to try some on, but I was tired and it was warm. But I did find a pair of fantastic shoes. They are the color kind of a sage that I've been looking for. The woman there I could not tell you how much I appreciated her. She wasn't pushy And she was so helpful. She told me she's been there for a number of years. The shoes I got are Litfoot. I usually wear 40 but the 39 fit me better. I have bunions so I wanted to make sure I could walk around and not feel that the shoes were too tight. They were a little more than I spend, but I think worth it made very well. Next time I'm up this way. I'm going to try on some clothes. read more

I have tried to order from this shop on two separate occasions, each time without realizing that most items are pre-orders. You pay for the items but must wait months before they arrive. I ordered items in July 2025, which I did not receive until October, well after the event for which I needed the items. The same thing happened again this May. I received a message indicating that the item was being prepared for shipping. When I called to inquire, I was informed that this was a pre-order. The owner is rude and talked constantly over me, insisting that an obviously shady business practice is legitimate. I will accept the recent loss as my loss, it I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SHOP. I will certainly not patronize it ever again. CAVEAT EMPTOR read more

I ordered a Jess and Jane sweatshirt, and to get free shipping, I ordered another top. The owner emailed me and told me to call her regarding my order. She said the way it works is she puts every item from the Jess and Jane collection on her website. Then after the order is placed, she checks to see IF THE SIZE ordered is available. I was under the impression what I ordered, in the size I ordered, was available since she had it listed on her website. I asked if she would refund both items since I only ordered the second one to get free shipping. She said no, and that I had to pay the $7.99 shipping fee or I could get a store credit, but not a refund. Again, I never would've ordered the second item if I knew the first one was not available. I haven't received the second item yet, and the return policy is only 14 days for a store credit. I will NEVER order from this company again. Skip it Had back and forth emails with the owner about a shirt that came with a stain on final clearance with no returns. She denied that could happen and fluffed her way thru the "I always work with the customer blah blah blah" Told her I wouldn't write a review and wouldn't buy from them again. This raised her hackles and she got even more defensive and doubled down. The only reason I got to her site was I was looking for Cupcake International clothes and her site popped up. I agree with the other low star rating that this place is a hard pass. I'm blocking her emails. read more

I was excited by eclectic clothing options which drew me into the store. Upon entering with my husband who was drinking a coffee, was treated poorly by an employee. Her approach was quite rude about no food or drinks. Now, it should be noted that there were no visible signs posted outside about a no drinks policy. So as a result, prior to even saying "hi or welcome" a yell of "do you want to put your drink here?" Easily caught us off guard and we were puzzled. Then she went on to say "you can put your drink here, the owner is paranoid about drinks". My husband responded politely with a no thank you, I'll just stay outside. He proceeded to go across the way to the Prohibition store. I highly recommend that place. Great service and we dropped a pretty penny there. Anyway, I should have exited immediately as well but I didn't. The two ladies on duty proceeded to gossip pretty loudly at that about a mishap with the other store across the way. Like a lot, the one lady who remained behind the counter really went in about lack of insurance etc. she's the same person who yelled at my husband. There was another couple in the store as well and they were also being ignored but the husband did co-sign and buy his wife some items. Anyway, despite the offerings the experience in the store makes me regret stepping inside. I was prepared to get quite a few pieces today but the environment dictated my exit. I'd suggest some etiquette training be revisited to the staff. They were more concerned about picking up leaves than by being welcoming. There's lots of other awesome stores that you should venture to. read more

I take exception to the term "pricey" for yelp's comments. If you want to look like every tom, dick and harry, sure you can get common clothes at cheap prices. However, I found this place and LOVE not just the one of a kind pieces but the manner in which the store is laid out - by color! I have more pieces from this store and still, years later I get compliments on the unique articles. Oh, and fun shoes and jewelry, too! Always helpful - never pushy - just out and out accommodating.
