Da Braddahs Grindz - Ordered from here again. So good!

Best Hawaiian Chicken Katsu in Vegas!!! I've tried at least two other places so far, and Da…read moreBraddahs Grindz definitely wins. Their chicken katsu is crispy and tender, and the breading/meat ratio is good as well. I also like how they thinly slice the pieces. The rice and mac salad were solid as well. It's a heavy plate for only $18 after tax; you can get two meals out of this. I'll definitely make the trip back up here from Henderson if I have a craving. The location is also pretty unique since it's literally in a gas station convenience store. Love the hole-in-the-wall vibes!

But Vegas is different in many ways especially in the food universe. Restaurants are EVERYWHERE. Tucked into places you wouldn't believe or expect . When I moved here years ago, I seriously thought nobody had kitchens in their houses or apartments. But a well run convenience store with of course the obligatory slot machines is a perfect environment for a small take out place. Probably a good amount of steady foot traffic, many items besides the proverbial quart of milk and energy drink etc. Anyway, Stopped in and ordered the chicken katsu plate . (A katsu, chicken or pork is typically a deep fried breaded cutlet of many degrees of quality if you will, could be grown chicken or pork, or an actual whole pork chop or chicken breast). The chicken katsu (actually two to the order) were thin, well breaded and deep fried perfectly. I think they were prepared previously and just refried to order. The katsu's were sliced into strips and served on a bed of cabbage along with two good sized scoops of white rice and one of macaroni salad. Ample condiments were provided as well as were about five napkins and a disposable fork. The quantity of food could feed 2 easily and maybe a third. The cutlets were tasty, not oily from the refrying. Sliced thinly. The rice was cooked well, just a tiny bit sticky . The macaroni salad was good really mayonnaisey though. I prefer a sweeter salad personally though. Definitely will be returning. Didn't ask about military discount .

I've heard a lot of hype and seen a lot of Instagram reels on this place, and I will say it did not…read moredisappoint. We arrived right before 5pm when it opened and there were already 4 people ahead of us before they even started taking orders. For only having 2 ppl in the truck, they moved pretty quickly, but by the time we got to the front of the line, there were at least 10 more groups of people behind us. In total we were there about 30 min outside from getting in line to getting our food. We had to get the favorites we've seen, so we got the crackin chicken cutty fries, the green chile burrito smothered, and a slice of Tiramisu. The fries and burrito were both so flavorful. The chicken in the burrito had such a great flavor to it by itself but the green chile was fantastic, a little spicier than I anticipated but mixed with the pinto beans it was such a good combination of spice, flavors, and just goodness. Everyone recommended getting it smothered with cheese sauce and green chile on top so we had to. Definitely found out why it was recommended *love* The fries, omg the fried chicken was so crispy, perfect seasoning on the breading, and the different sauces mixed with it... yup definitely tasty. Such a huge portion size, but they do offer upgraded chicken cutty fries as a side with the burrito to get the best of both and smaller portion. And the tiramisu..... *chefs kiss * it is my favorite dessert so I have high expectations... this hit the mark, and the slice was so massive!! I'm so happy I'll be able to eat on it for days!! Pricing for all of this plus the prickly pear cutty juice with pineapple (which was also very tasty and fresh) was over $60 so a little more expensive but lord, with the portion sizes and all the toppings it's totally worth it!!! We will be back! Just may go try the brick n mortar location bc it was extremely hot outside to be standing in line waiting after 5 pm. If the line was any longer we probably wouldn't have waited. The other locations are a lot farther from us so this was the best location wise. Also would be nice to open earlier, but may not be as easy to do in a food truck which is understandable.

I will say the gentleman taking my order was very nice and when I got home with our order the portions were large and we were very excited to try this place. I got the smothered chili burrito and my husband got the krackin chicken fries. So disappointed. His chicken had no flavor even with the ample breading, the only thing that gave it flavor was the sauces . My burrito was just ok, not as great as everyone claims it to be. We paid quite a bit for these 2 items (close to $40) We both felt "meh" about the food. It's a shame because we have had the hardest time finding good places to eat nearby. We won't be back

Cool mini food truck festival that comes to Centennial Hills every Saturday evening. I've been…read morecoming occasionally since I found out about it back in 2020. They post on social media which restaurants are participating each week. There are usually 7 or 8 trucks to choose from and often include foods such as Maine lobster rolls, burgers, Mexican or other Latin cuisine, Hawaiian, ice cream, and/or shaved ice. The trucks park to the left of Lee's Discount Liquor on El Capitan so that area of the lot does get really congested even though there will still be parking available. I recommend parking towards Walgreens or even walking if you live nearby!

It's located in the parking lot of Walgreens and Lee's Discount Liquor. Cross streets are Farm and Durango, off of the N-95 and Durango exit. The hours are different based on the season. During winter, the hours are between 2:00 P.M - 6:00 P.M. During late spring and summer, the hours shift to later in the evening. Parking can be a little difficult. I'd recommend parking towards the Walgreens as the Food Trucks are situated in the parking lot next to Lee's Discount Liquor and there can be a lot of traffic in that location. Typically every week, there are a variety of different food trucks. When I had gone last Saturday, 1/9 the following food trucks were available Picanha Steak Truck Maize St. Street Kings lv Meats Gone Wild Flattops Burgers & Shakes Originally Curbside Cafe @Hot Diggity Dog Churros 101 The Cookie Bar This time, we decided to pick up goodies from the following locations - Flattops Burgers & Shakes Originally Curbside Cafe - Chicken Tenders, French Fries and a bottle of water - $11.00. The chicken tenders were okay. It was slightly overcooked and the chicken was dry. French Fries were thin and salty. Street Kings LV - Fried Chicken, French Fries, Chimichurri sauce - Approximately $10.00. Wow! Some of the best French Fries! The combination of all of the different ingredients was phenomenal. I'd recommend eating this inside your car instead of traveling with it. This will allow the food to stay fresh. The Cookie Bar - A variety of different cookies from chocolate chip, apple cider, and a few others! - $20. Some of the cookies are infused with alcohol, so make sure to check out the description for each cookie before buying. @Hot Diggity Dog - Their pulled pork sandwich, which was approximately $10.00. This was good, quite filling. The pulled pork needed extra seasonings though. The meat didn't have too much flavor. The BBQ sauce on-top was a good addition. I love the food truck Frenzy. We've already frequented the Churros 101 and Picanha Steak Truck, both are really scrumptious. I haven't had a bad meal yet at either! If you're in the Centennial area on a Saturday afternoon, you should check out Food Truck Frenzy!

The sauce is seasoned right & literally the taste of the bbq flavor is there. Overall texture is appetizing. Spare Ribs - savory flavor but meat is a bit overcooked and dry. I care less on the potato salad as well. Both lunch plate has a bed of rice (which in my opinion ain't cook enough) and tossed salad (they should call it tossed spinach unless they put other fresh veggies in that way it can be call salad). Overall t'was a good dinner. Lunch plates can be shared with other person as portions are hefty.
