Rating 4 starts because of location: the truck is located on a dirt lot behind the freeway. Although you can spot it from the freeway (passenger side, the driver will miss it because of speed), it's hard to get too if you're not familiar with the area. Other than that, I love this food truck! The food was so delicious and the staff is so sweet. My favorite was the Kobe Beef Sliders and their dragon fries The sauce on the fries was so good. The kids and I drove across the street for some really good food truck grub. 2 and 3 trucks have been hanging out on Lone Mt and Tenaya. It's our first time trying Dragon Grille but we always saw them at foodie fest with huge lines. I'm so glad there in our neighborhood right now. Wow, we've been missing out again! As I've started to become a regular attendee at the centrally located "Food Truck Party" outside the Total Wine and More next to Fry's, so has this truck. Dragon Grille is an Asian Fusion food truck that's been around for quite a while. Considering how often I seem to visit food trucks, I've been a bit slow to try some of the longer-tenured Las Vegas trucks. Well, here's a checkmark for a four-year veteran. The main focus of reviews amongst my Yelp friends seems to be the Dragon Fries ($8), so I went for those. They were quite addictive from the first bite, with satisfying greasy fries that only lost a little crunch under the pile of wet toppings. The delicious, mayo-based sauce was the dominant flavor. There was a reasonable amount of tender shredded beef, but it really could've been any meat in there and I wouldn't have really noticed one way or the other. That's the only flaw in this otherwise very satisfying dish. I'll consider trying more items Dragon Grille in the coming weeks. They're not quite as memorable as some of my favorite recent local food truck experiences, but they're definitely worth checking out. read more

Got to visit the truck during CES on Friday. Cashier was amazing he was friendly and very helpful. Saw him handle a few gentlemen that were acting with the small D energy. He was patient and kind even though the group of guys were not the best behaved. The cashier get major points because I would've lost my crap on them. I got the steak hot dog. Fries were amazing. Hot dog was huge. Not a big fan of the sauce but I'm a super picky eater and it was a little spicy for me. (Ketchup is spicy to me) highly recommend customer service was A+++ and the food was the same. All around great. read more

I've been tired of eating the same food and at the same places in and around UNLV. So, when I saw this food truck, I just had to do it. I saw "Korean BBQ" on the menu, heck yeah! I should have known better. I got a small Korean BBQ Bowl which was a lot of food. I opened the lid of what looked like cat food. Yuck! If I could get past the appearance...ok, so, I tasted it. It was really salty and sweet - like I would need dialysis if I ate here regularly. And the rice...it was undercooked. If you're going to call yourself "Dragon Grill" at least cook the rice properly. $8 worth of disappointment. See, if I had gotten the large bowl, that's even worse. Customer service is also lacking. PROS: Gal who took order was friendly and cheerful. CONS: Small size for the chicken bowl was $10. Expensive for a very small portion. A good comparison to reference to is Panda Express' bowl (bigger than this). I gave it a shot, hoping flavors would be phenomenal. Sadly, there was nothing extraordinary...shredded chicken with mediocre teriyaki sauce over rice...garnished with cilantro. I swear the portion of chicken was barely a 1/4 of a chicken breast shredded. It appears they mince the chicken to ration portion control. This particular truck was the food truck of the week at my building. After reading the reviews decided to give them a try. Checked the menu before I arrived and decided on the tacos. Once I got down to the truck, I learned that they had a limited menu today of only 5 items. After some thought, I decided on the chicken teriyaki bowI. Big mistake. It was ready in less than 5 minutes which was suspicious. Quick trip back into my place and the food was just luke warm. Pretty disappointing. The bottom of the bowl was filled with rice and then topped with minced chicken and peppers, onions, carrots, celery. It was doused in really salty teriyaki sauce (I will say there was enough to cover all of the rice). The dish did not mesh well together. Was definitely not impressed. read more

As for the tacos...it might be because I'm so used to eating Mexican style tacos with no rice, I was a bit thrown off with having rice in my tacos. Besides that, it had great flavors. We were given a chance at a free meal for being law enforcement so I took them up on the free meal. Food is good. It has it's own unique flare which I love but I just can't justify spending the money. They are seriously expensive for a food truck. More expensive than a lot of sit down restaurants. UPDATE: The owner reached out to me and explained the reason for the high prices. It shows that they do care about their customers. Three words, Korean fusion tacos. These things are seriously out of this world! My boyfriend and I first tried them during first Friday's a few months ago and it was love at first bite. We went with the beef and Korean sauce. Perfect combo! We most recently had them again during Life is Beautiful where they had a 3 tacos for $10 deal going. We mixed it up a bit with both chicken and beef tacos this time, but found the beef is definitely ten times better. I highly recommend checking them out next time you see them around town. Tucked away inside the corner of the Adrenaline Bar you will find this amazing food I've eaten off their food truck several times in am always satisfied (their Dragon Fries are legendary) I ended up ordering 12 wings and fries 6 hot and 6 Korean BBQ. Hired them for an employee appreciation lunch a few weeks ago now. They showed up on time and made the process easy. The food was pretty good, the employees liked it. They were fast getting the food out and made the process really streamlined so that everyone was served and fed without having to take extra time on the lunch break waiting around. They did run out of one of the menu items we chose, but they added a different one on to compensate and didn't charge us extra. So all of the insane options at Foodie Fest my boyfriend and I visited Dragon Grille on our second round of eats. And trust me we RAVED about those tacos. I split a philly cheese steak and fry & the street tacos with a friend. The philly cheese steak was a shocking let down. IT'S TINY a 4" roll (not a big sub sandwich like the picture) with hardly any meat. The street tacos also had hardly any meat. It was clear after a bite of each that their strategy is to charge double and give you half as much. It was also clear that they simply cover all their dishes with a bunch of sauce so why even advertise Kobe beef or Korean BBQ when it all tasks like sauce. I will go to ANY sub sandwich shop/chain, pay less and get more meat and more sandwich than purchase from this food truck ever again. I had been waiting to go here forever because they are a food truck and that means no consistent location and sometimes they are not open. Delicious food. I had been craving their kalbi-Q sauce and shredded beef brisket ever since I first tried it at the Foodie Festival at Silverton Casino a few years back. Sooooo delicious. We ordered three servings of the fusion tacos with beef brisket and the Korean Kalbi-Q sauce, some Dragon Fries also with Korean Kalbi-Q, and the Sriracha Mac-n-Cheese. The fusion tacos and Dragon Fries were simply amazing, tasted just as I had remembered. Don't bother getting the Sriracha Mac-n-Cheese, though, as it seems to be just normal Kraft Mac-n-Cheese with some parmesan cheese and sriracha on top.
