I purchased some carpet for my parents rental unit and had drop by in person to see what they had…read moreon sale. I consulted with one of the sales staff and determined that I would purchase a beige carpet and made the purchase on the spot. I asked them to hold it for my carpet installer to pick it up at a later date. Approximately 2 weeks later my installer picked it up and installed it. When I went to see the finished job I was shocked to find it was the wrong carpet. I went to the store to let them know that they had sold me the wrong carpet and showed them my receipt and the picture I took of the carpet I bought in their store previously. The staff were shocked as well and said that their manager will call me to discuss and hopefully fix this. As such, I have been there one more time after I did not hear from this manager and again was told he would contact me. Well, I have yet to hear from him. I am a realtor and I will warn my clients about this particular store if they require any flooring after this experience.

Craig and his crew assessed the situation, scoped it out, prepped and protected the area before digging up a section of our side yard, explained and updated us frequently, took photos of their progress and drew sketches to further explain the issues, used multiple augers to break through a tricky jam, replaced old piping, added a much needed clean out, and then backfilled and did a thorough tidy up of the area. There were a couple of little glitches that we worked through. I'm very picky although I can say that I was very impressed with their workmanship and install to a point. Make sure you do your homework and ask lots of questions. They broke the vanity drawer support, then haphazardly tried to fix it with silicone. They didn't tell me they broke it. I found out when I was reinstalling the drawers. They stated in an email that they were sorry and tried to justifying it, and didn't offer to fix it. When they sent me the final bill, I deducted the repair amount, which they did not like and sent the bill back with the full amount. Also, the sink cut out was wrong, even though the correct size was on the contract. They wanted to reduce the price if I kept the wrong cut out, which I stated no I wanted the correct cut out. They stated they would remove and install the new counter same day and old counter would go in the dumpster, not a good carbon footprint. My thoughts were instead of wasting material they can use the counter with the wrong cut out and make a waterfall for the new counter and do a few other cuts for me also, me thinking outside of the box instead of the material going into the dumpster They also decided to charge me a $500 trip for taking out the old counter and coming back at a later date to reinstall the new counter. Yes, I added a waterfall and a a few other pieces which I had no problem paying for although I was not going to pay the $500.trip amount. This would not have been an issue if they would've made the cut out correctly the first time.

They went above and beyond and even refinished the small transition strip between the apartment hallway and my tiled entry. From the designers to the ownership, everyone is a "yes man". The concept of customer service is lost on these folks; they simply do not care. Everything will look perfect until you pay that deposit and then you'll start to see the red flags. One thing will be written and/or recorded and you will receive something entirely different. The "designers" simply don't pay attention and you find out your order is wrong after it has been delivered, despite numerous confirmations beforehand. It is extremely challenging to work with people that say one thing and then ultimately do something else. The worst part is that as the customer, you are blamed. In my situation, I had visual proof (paper trail) showing that the designer made a major measurement error, even after final confirmations and after I was told all requests have been correctly submitted, and this was brushed off entirely. This is a clueless company. Customer service aside, the big issue is all of their cabinets are made overseas in China. This has nothing to do with quality but has everything to do with timing. From the beginning, you'll be waiting at least 12 weeks for initial delivery; everything is sent via boat in containers. If something goes wrong, you'll wait another 12 weeks (15 weeks in my case) during which time I was given continual lies about the order status: "it will be two weeks", "it will be two more weeks", "it has arrived", "it will still be four more weeks". Yes, you are reading this correctly. After being told "it has arrived", it was another four weeks until it actually arrived. You have to ask yourself: why would they lie about this? Or do they simply have zero control and insight into their own supply chain? I do not know which is worse. If you've worked with this type of cabinet company before, you'll know that something **always** goes wrong due to their incompetence. Had I known how clueless these people are, I would have stayed far away. This is what happens when you focus on price before quality. A lesson learned for me that I hope those reading this do not repeat. If you want speed, accuracy and quality, stick with a local company that manufactures locally. Cost may be marginally higher but you'll have a better outcome with more timely results. The response times will be faster and you'll get your order much quicker. Within one kilometer of this company are 10 other cabinet companies to choose from. Seriously shop around before even remotely considering these guys. Trust me, this will save you a lot of time and likely money too overall, with less headache. The old saying really is true: "you get what you pay for". Buyer beware.
