Then the work started. Without saying they were here, no hello or word they were on there way. The deal was to look at the job and talk if it was a patch job or more, and what would be done. No talking, No hello, no word they were even here. They just jumped on my roof and from a nail holes leak they had a 2ft sq hole with no roof tiles left. I ran outside to talk to them but they were leaving driving down the road. I jumped on the phone to call the person I set the job up with to say "WHATS GOING ON" He said he would call them and let me know. I had many things at the time I could and did say to myself but will not get into here. Come to find out the two men that were on the job did not speak English at all. I ask the office to send a English speaking employee but Noone showed up. They completed the job and took pictures. I was not happy with the work and asked for a forman to come check the work. No one were showed. A few weeks later I got a phone call demanding to know why I had not paired. My answer was you have not sent the bill or a forman to check the work. To end this long story save yourself a headache and check around for a good business that sends English speaking employee.

At this point, Barrett Window told me he'd have his insurance agent contact me yet I'm getting the same argument repeatedly that Barrett Window doesn't feel responsible because I paid Home Improvement Specialists and the insurance won't file a claim because Barrett Window doesn't know who Bobby Lass had to install or make any corrections to my roof. How can Robby Barrett get away with this circular argument when he owns both the company who filed the permit and the company who received payment on the poor job?!

Now the other side of the roof it is actually coming up and coming apart, we were told by one person from the company they didn't put in long enough screws since this is a metal roof and we were told they had to order them and we still have not received any information on when they will be installed. We have a lifetime warranty on this and cannot get anything thing done to fix the problems.

I am capable of making a decision without my husband. He repeatedly tried to sell me on the company... I already researched and I knew I was going with them... so this irritated me. Finally got to the point of signing the contract... which I made him come back for because he said it was going to take so much time to draw them up and I didn't want to wait around. So he came back, I signed the paper and gave my deposit. I was told 6 weeks to install. At least they warn you it's going to be a minute. So, 6 weeks came... no word. I called and it took me a couple days to get in touch with them because they don't leave voicemails. Finally, about 2 weeks later got my appointment for installation. The day of installation came, the guys did an awesome job. That's why they get 3 stars. The rest of the experience was awful... but the installers were awesome. Very patient and worked with me since I couldn't be home. They texted me photo options. This company needs to ditch the old fashioned mentality because I was offended... and I'm sure I'm not the only one... and I repeatedly told them I did t need a sales pitch... that I just wanted to see the options and the price.

Day one and two not too bad except they didn't arrive before 9:00 am any day. They stopped work on day two, a Friday. I was told they'd be back first thing Monday morning to finish. Day three: They didn't show up at all and moved on to another job before finishing mine. Day 4: only came to caulk what they had completed. Day 5: supervisor and one crew member showed up and worked the entire day to finally finish. The sales call went well. The price was fair, but the installation was very aggravating. Not sure I can recommend this business. Maybe another installation crew would have been better, could not be worse.

So far, a VERY BAD dream, going on 2nd half of 3 months now. The trim is left exposed on the windows not to mention the Shutters that have been damaged and some Stucco damage (NOT SEALED). I have called, also this morning sent an email to Windows of Augusta to try to get SOMEONE to answer, at least get the job done, I was told "Lifetime Warranty"? Hell, it's gonna take a "Lifetime" to get these installed. I will re-post again when and if the job ever gets done. IF all goes well and they fix the damages to our homes exterior and broken windows they installed get replaced soon.
