It would be a great place to sit on your computer if you needed to work or study a bit.

I have to get a medium and a small to make what I would get at other coffee shops which ended up being almost $13. My medium iced white mocha with blackberry was delicious, but the small had little chunks of white stuff in it and I ended up throwing it out because I couldn't chance it being the milk and making myself sick. I would stop here again, and will of course.

Overpriced mediocre food and wasted 2 good hours! We have eaten at the Tilted Ladder every other week or so for months and the food and service has always been good. I would even tell the staff how good it was. We took our neighbors on July 19 and on the way there told them we have never gotten anything bad from the Tilted Ladder. The server was great but it took a long time to get our food after we ordered. Our neighbors didn't say anything about their meals and we didn't ours while we were with them, but his chicken was cooked way to done he had to saw through it to cut it. He got the white chicken pasta. I had the Hawaiian flatbed and the crust wasn't done. I picked up a piece and it just flopped over and was chewy & doughy. My girlfriend ordered a side of the white Mac & Cheese and it wasn't even lukewarm and it came in a tiny little bowl about the size of a dressing cup for side salad for $4. She got the burrito bowl and didn't eat much of it because it was just mediocre with no taste. I have always told the wait staff that the food was great every time we have eaten at places, so from me you are gonna hear the good as much as you will the bad. If fact we didn't even say anything to the waitress about the food. She was very nice and provided great service. I just thought it was an off night or maybe we had been too much and we would not go back for a while. A day or so later we talked to our neighbors and we talked about how the meal wasn't that good. Well we went back last night with my oldest granddaughter after 6 weeks and it was our last time. It was an all around terrible experience! After we ordered a cheeseburger, appetizer quesadilla and philly cheesesteak we waited over an hour and 20 minutes before we got over food. And the sweet potato fries were cold, not even warm enough to melt the cinnamon butter and the burger was nothing special or nothing more than what you could get at home or fast food place, but it was at least double the cost. I didn't say anything to the manager because I was not looking for a complimentary meal or anything. I did tell the waitress that the fries were not hot and she said she would comp those, without even offering to have fresh made. I guess she knew we had been there so long she shouldn't press it. I will give a place a good compliment when they are good and I will give them a bad compliment when they are bad! I will also give the benefit of having an off night once, but after giving them a second chance and it was worse.... I am not giving them another chance. I am DONE with Tilted Ladder! read more

We really wanted to like this place. It's a nice little location with a lot of history. We were looking forward to the food and a nice evening out. Walked right in and were seated but our server was either VERY new or VERY overwhelmed as she passed us several times (with menus aside) before finally realizing we were ready to order. We ordered Chopped Steak, Pork Chop and an appetizer of Mozzarella Sticks. Sides were Idaho Mashed Potatoes & Veggies, Red Skin Mashed Potatoes & Mac n Cheese. The Sticks arrived quickly, but had obviously been rushed as the insides were still cold (had never even melted... still square) and the sauce looked more like Bolognese Spaghetti Sauce than traditional Marinara. Huge chunks of sausage in it. Not bad.. but unexpected. We joked a bit about the upcoming meal being better than these sticks! We got the orders in a timely manor (the service was good other than being a bit long to take our orders) and everything looked good... so good in fact that a second identical order arrived about 2/3 of the way through our meal. Apparently they duplicated the order somehow (wasn't that busy). Our meal was just OK though. My Pork Chop was a bit too heavily seasoned and as I neared the bone I found some quite raw sections. Her Chopped Steak was good but the veggies were salted to extreme. Both of our Mashed Potatoes were salted almost to in-edibleness, with her Idaho style being way too dry. I'd have traded 2/3 of the salt used in them for more butter and creme! We had such high hopes (we love going out to local small places) but we're crossing this one off the list. Hopefully they take these comments with more than, wait for it... a grain of salt and look at improving their meals. read more

This place is hands down one of the best sports bars around! Service was good from our server, so no problem there. I felt that the problem lied in the kitchen. We ordered our appetizer only for our food to come out before the appetizer. It took the kitchen 40 minutes to get our appetizer out. They didn't even offer to comp the app after the issue, so we sent it back. We went there and it is a tiny little shop but many times good things come in small packages. My wife and I split one of the specials which was called the honey bee and it was absolutely one of the best sub sandwiches we've ever had. It was loaded with diced chicken that had no chewy bits and had cheese some kind of sauce and then was lathered in honey. The bread was exceptional it was soft and fluffy and easy to chew and all in all was very feeling. We upgraded to get chips and a drink and it comes with a absolutely massive pickle as well. They have a pretty good menu of different sandwiches or you can build your own the value is way better than a Jimmy John's or any of the other sub places and the flavor was I'm sure way better. We don't often make it up to this area but we will definitely the next time we are in the pilot mountain area or passing through there be stopping to get another sub. They also had some amazing desserts and we were so full we did not go home with one of those but probably next time.
