Got quoted for a deep…read moreclean, which included oven cleaning per their contract that they sent, but then got charged an extra $40 for oven cleaning. Counters weren't wiped down. Nothing was dusted. So now I'll spend my afternoon cleaning the things they didn't. Had to use our vacuums because theirs broke. Yes it was a big job, and what was done, was done well. But my problem is with them not honoring what they claim to do, and saying well we did more work than we should have. And being told "we'll get it next time". Trust me, there won't be a next time. Edited to add - In response to the business response - No dusting was done and when asked about, we were told they'd only dust if all personal items were packed up and moved. There were surfaces completely cleared of personal items that were left untouched. After they left I cleaned those surfaces myself, (desk, mantle, tv stand, bookcase, countertops and appliances, and kitchen island) in under 30 minutes. Yes there were cluttered areas, which we did not ask to be cleaned and they weren't. I also told them if anything needed to be moved to please let me know and I'd be happy to do it. As I said, what was done was done well for the most part. It was the attitude of the gentleman that was here also and the way he chose to speak to me when asked about issues that was the biggest problem. As a business, if you mess up what you include in your estimate, that is on you, not your customer. But then to imply that I wasn't going to pay him when I questioned things that were not done was beyond rude. Shelly was very kind though, and had things been communicated better, perhaps we could have continued this business relationship.
