The Ticket Defenders seems to be the king of fast food of ticket clinics. No fuss, efficient, affordable, and generally satisfying.
My new resident welcome to Miami Beach was a speeding ticket in a school zone. The second day I moved here. In the dark. At 6:30 AM on the way to exercise with a friend. I was so frustrated with the rude cop and circumstances I thought about picking up and moving again! No flashing lights, no visible signs, it was pitch DARK in the winter time. Where I come from the only thing kids are doing at 6:30 AM is begging their parents to let them sleep in another hour. NOT prancing across the crosswalk in the pitch dark to start 7am algebra classes.
Anywho, a friend of my local friend reccommended I call attornies William Troy, Esq and Jon Schwartz, Esq to take on the case. Since I *had* a perfect driving record I'd never gone through ticket clinics before and was expecting a long drawn out, expensive process. What I got was complete opposite.
Mr Troy gave me the run down of the process. I pay them a fee and they go to bat for me in court. If they win, I pay court costs and no points go on my driving record. If they lose I pay the ticket but get the attorney fee back. What was there to think about!?! Of course I happily gave my CC details over the phone and received a letter about my court date in the mail a few weeks later. I followed up after the court date and they reported the case was dropped and no points go on my record. That was WAY too easy! With court costs and attorny fees the total was still less than the speeding fine. I'm still waiting for there to be a catch as I'm so pleased with the process. But 5 months later all good and clear!
