Don't even bother with The Ticket Clinic. They now operate on brand recognition without putting much effort into the job we hire them to do. Their lawyer did what basically I could've done myself - sit there and accept the fine. I don't think the officer was even present for the hearing. I could've had the case dismissed with those odds. The tickets , yes tickets. Four in total given by a lady in uniform. Actually though she was Security for the parking for Brandsmart and Marshalls near 160th St. My mom who is disabled was driving . Marshals he just opened and no one was in the LA fitness parking lot. If you're familiar with this area it's usually very busy. My mom pulled up in front of marshals to run in to make a return. She asked me if I would jump into the driver seat. They said she was disabled walking is very difficult for her. As it happened this was a fire lane the lady officer What is pleasant enough gave me these for as she referred to warnings parking in a fire lane, expired tag, no drivers license no insurance. Yes sounds like we deserve it neglectful? The day prior we had just moved back from California we had been living there a year and a half. Looking at what we thought were warnings turned out to be tickets call the ticket clinic. Paid them $150 the next time I heard from them was via letter the tickets had been dismissed and I owed $149. This was 2018 may actually in until recently when he started receiving letters from a creditor. It's interesting because there is very little information regarding my ticket on their website where I have my account set up there is a PDF file of for suppose letters that were sent to my address stating that I owed court costs and fines never any dollar amount. The letters I did receive were for the $149 that I needed to pay in order to close the case and my tickets would be gone. Absolutely incredible maybe the lost student didn't feel like going to traffic court that day? Because I find it very interesting that there are so many reviews stating how great they are getting people out of speeding tickets red light crashes it's crazy never ever ever would I recommend them as one person put it it's all about money shitty way to make money. I was cited for not obeying a do not enter sign; but when we circled the area when we were leaving and we never saw a the a sign the second time. This officer was just sitting there 75 yards from entrance flagging us over. We were helping my son move home for the summer after his second year at the University of Miami and were headed out to get some lunch. Following the GPS south on Dixie Hwy, it told us to turn right for 72nd St. That's when we entered this lane that said pick-up for transit passengers. There was one car in front of us and within 5 minutes 2 other cars were pulled over behind me just for turning in; making the same mistake. We were not trying to short-cut the corner; only trying to stay in route to the restaurant we were having lunch at. This was a thru road and there was no other traffic except the 4 of us. The area was totally deserted. This was an awfully unfair citation and really gave me a bad impression of how the city of South Miami treats visitors. The officer, Melvris Lopez, was very impersonal and was only intent to pump out tickets, unsympathetic that we might be lost. The Ticket Clinic not only appeared in court on my behalf but managed to have all charges dismissed where I will not receive any points and no conviction will appear on my record.
