I had informed that staff there that this was my first time filing taxes by myself (I am 22 years old), and did not learn ANYTHING while I was there. Absolutely nothing was explained to me and I barely talked with the preparer throughout the entire process. This office consisted of two women- one of which was smirk and rude, and the other was slightly approachable. The preparer I had worked with was dressed as if she had just gotten out of bed, and the professionalism in the office was slim to none. I left my tax appointment that day crying and to be honest, very upset, because I felt as if I was being yelled at for not knowing how to do taxes rather than being helped and informed. I have had my taxes done through Jackson Hewitt in previous years, but I will NEVER return to this location. The staff made me feel stupid and helpless.
