We love going to the Tap Room. Great food and service and nice variety of wine, beer and spirits. The meatloaf was hearty and good and the sand dabs were also very good. Love that they are open and serve later than most restaurants in the area.
Dined last Saturday for lunch. Mostly the usual good experience. I was a bit disappointed with my filet Mignon today though. It wasn't the best of cuts. It was a little stringy in make up. It lacked the usual texture attained during preparation. And didn't seem to be seasoned upon grilling. It was a real all around miss. It is not what I have come to expect from the Tap Room. Everything else we had was great, thankfully. The French onion soup, the potato gratin, the Gruyère chicken melt, popcorn shrimp, and cheesecake were all excellent. They have a superior wine by the glass selection. Service was great. Classic ambiance.
Always a great time at Tap Room, friendly staff and great food. Excellent bar staff. Wonderful selection on the menu. I like to pop in once or twice a week. Love it 5 stars for sure.

Really can't go wrong with this place. Everything is delish! Remember to save room for dessert! My favorite is the coconut cake!!
Quality/Quantity - Also known as the 19th hole. I got here first for a drink or two while my wife continued to shop. Volver, Tempranillo, Single Vineyard, La Mancha, Spain 2018 - Was able to finish two glasses before my wife came back from shopping, lol. Thai Curry Shrimp Soup, bowl - Better than expected. Good flavors, generous shrimp. Overall a small menu done well. Well, I just looked at the lunch menu. Atmosphere - Good size location. Dress code is resort casual. So dress like a golfer, lol. Indoor and outdoor seating. Bar seating, where you can find me, lol. Open 7 days a week from 7am to midnight. See website. Service - Friendly and welcoming. Relaxing. Price - Reasonably priced for being in Pebble Beach. $51 + tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1919. 1880 - Pacific Improvement Company; headed by the big four. 1881 - 17 mile drive open. 1897 - 9 hole course. 1901 - Started charging 25¢ to enter the 17 mile drive. 1903 - 18 hole course. Stopped by for drinks and appetizers on a Friday afternoon. We were seated promptly, everyone we encountered was very friendly and our food came out quickly. We got the prime beef skewers and brisket queso, both were delicious but the queso was definitely our favorite.

This isn't where it usually is as they are doing construction on the real site, but the view of the course itself is still nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our waitress was great and attentive. I didn't want the cheese on my salad and she asked if I wanted to substitute a different cheese, which I hadn't even thought to do! I ordered the beet salad and it was light, yet refreshing. It was the perfect dish for lunchtime.

Our drinks took over 20 minutes which was irritating because we just got waters and 2 cokes. We finally had another waiter help us. The food finally came and it was yummy. We also got the key lime pie which was awesome. Other than the drink drought we had a great time.

We had great service for lunch. We ate in the temporary location in July '25. The prime rib chili and cornbread were delicious. Ask for bread service. It's delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a view of the hole 1 fairway.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
This was a great surprise while in Carmel! I shot over to the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Course and had an incredible dinner at the Tap Room, their temporary steak house while the original is being renovated. I started with a fantastic Old Fashion! Then went straight to a nice piece of prime rib with a corn side dish. Paired that with a delicious Pinot Nior. Finished with a Nutty Irishman!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful night and fantastic food![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
FOOD: 5 SERVICE: 4 AMBIANCE: 5 VALUE: 5 The Tap Room is in the Pebble Beach resort main building. The is an entrance directly from the main courtyard. It is a traditional pub with full sit down meal service. We were lucky enough to grab a table for early dinner during Car Week. The hostess was very kind and seated our table of four very hungry people. The only stipulation was that we can only have the table for 1 hour 45 minutes. We had the Prime Rib (different cuts) and it was delicious and tender. Then we ordered two desserts because I have a weakness for bread pudding and the ladies wanted a sundae. The bread pudding had excellent texture and taste. But the Tap Room Sundae was at a different level! First, it was HUGE, then there were tons of yummy ingredients, and finally the dark chocolate sauce was flavorful and not too sweet. All in all an excellent traditional English style pub.

We went to The Taproom for my birthday and it was such a treat it's easily one of my favorite restaurants and never disappoints. We ordered the New York steak and the Kobe Gold (which comes with the salt board). The Kobe Gold is my absolute favorite, it's $135, but it's 100% worth it and we order it every time. So flavorful and perfectly cooked. The brisket queso was delicious, and you can't go wrong with the Caesar salad. I love that they put anchovies on top. We also had the mac and cheese and a baked potato that was HUGE. Everything was spot on. For drinks, we had wine and an Old Fashioned it was good, but I do wish it came with one large square ice cube instead of the smaller ice. Just a small touch that would make it even better! We shared a half Taproom sundae for dessert and it was the perfect amount for four people. Nick was our server (we've had him before) and he always does an excellent job. He's attentive, friendly, and professional. We'll definitely be back. It's always a great experience here! read more
My BIL had eaten at the Tap Room previously and wanted to return. Six of us went for my birthday dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was dimly lit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The tables were crowded together so it presented challenges to exit from many tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waiter was friendly and talkative. He made suggestions for the men in our party but seemed to dismiss the women. He missed one of our side dishes entirely. The food was nothing special. The potato skins were dry and the prime rib reminded me of bacon. The lettuce wedge salad was the best food item. I like the Point Reyes blue cheese made it stand out. I had a half order of baby back ribs. They were crispy. We shared 2 desserts. Bread pudding and coconut cake. The pudding was good. The cake was just cake. Because it was my birthday they brought a 2 inch square of gluten free raspberry cake. We did not order it. I requested a scoop of ice cream which came on the pudding. The raspberry cake was dry. We were charged $6 for the cake. Just because a restruantit is exclusive does not make it worth the cost. read more
my coworker had talked super highly about the coconut cake from the tap room, so i knew i had to try it at the end of my 17-mile drive! i only tried the coconut cake and took it to-go, so i don't have anything to say about the food or vibes of the restaurant itself, but this cake was pretty yummy! i loved how this cake had heavy coconut flavor and was extremely moist and decadent. i wish i had more macadamia nuts bc i loved every bite pairing the coconut cake with the nuts! it gave it such a perfect crunch and helped with the richness of the cake. i also liked the chocolate sauce on the side, with the flavor combo reminding me of an almond joy. i believe that the cake is pretty expensive at $22 for a slice, but the tap room itself isn't a cheap restaurant, so that makes sense LOL. i don't think it was a mind-blowing slice of cake, but it was still a great sweet treat to end the 17-mile drive! read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]View and server were outstanding![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came here for a nice prime rib dinner to be told that the online menu wasn't updated regularly. No prime rib or lobster like we had hoped for. Ended up with a cheeseburger and French dip with fries. Wasn't impressed honestly with either. For what we had they'd get 3 out of 5 stars. read more

Need I say more? While the Lodge is under renovation, The Tap Room is relocated temporarily to Fairway One--where it was during Covid. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance lacks compared to the original[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] BUT the Coconut Cake always shines. OUTSTANDING! read more

My husband and I stopped in here after a hike around Point Lobos on our wedding anniversary which also happened to fall this year on Easter and spring break, so things were busy at The Tap Room. We were seated right away, and the room was beautiful. I got a Reuben sandwich (I always like to order this if it's on the menu) and it was so delicious with the corned beef sliced thin as it out to be, and my perfect ratio of sauce and sauerkraut to Corned beef on beautiful swirled rye/pumpernickel bread. What I'm really here to tell you about though is my server, Nick. He was so friendly - but not intrusive, conversational - but not too chatty. Just a top notch server. I've had lots of good service before at restaurants, but Nick will be remembered by me even after I've forgotten about the food. I also got the impression from the other staff that checked on us during the meal, that the level of care was shared by the whole staff. World class service! read more

My husband and I visited Pebble Beach with friends last Friday (July 25th). One of the best choices we made was to have lunch at The Tap Room. We ordered the salmon dish and asked for a second plate as we were going to share the dish between us. Instead, the chef split the dish for us and two plates were presented at the table each with the accoutrements of the dish. The salmon was tender and perfectly prepared, exquisite in flavor. My husband later ordered a piece of chocolate cake of which he offered to share as well. It was the most delicious, moist and chocolate filled cake we have ever tasted. The wait staff was very accommodating, friendly and efficient. When leaving, we asked the maître d' to give our compliments to the chef. Prices were reasonable and we will definitely return! read more

Hubs wanted to check out Pebble Beach, so we paid the $11.75 for the 17-mile toll fee. However, the fee can be reimbursed if at least $35 is spent at one of the Pebble Beach restaurants, which is how we ended up at The Tap Room. We arrived at the restaurant at around 2pm and able to get a table right away, although it was pretty busy. I wanted something light - soup and salad. We couldn't decide between the French Onion or trying the garlic soups, so we ordered both to share. The cups were pretty deep, and both soups arrived piping hot. The French Onion was rich in flavor and cheesy. I liked the crispy onion topping as well. The garlic soup was different - creamy and didn't necessarily taste like garlic - savory and flavorful. I decided on the Waldorf salad. It was just ok to me, but hubs liked it. Hubs ordered the Kobe Brie burger, which was served with truffle potato wedges. The wedges were hot and crispy, and the truffle flavor came through. Took a bite of the burger to give it a try. The brioche bun was soft and pillowy, and the burger was very tasty. There was a wait for our food, and our server came to apologize and noted the kitchen was backed up with an influx of orders. However, the staff checked on us often and made sure our water / iced tea cups remained full. read more

Honestly, when I first arrived I thought it would be super touristy and because of that, I thought quality would be average. I was proven to be very wrong. Staff was incredibly friendly. We had an amazing server who was so kind and patient with your 3 year old. They even bonded over her niece loving Paw Pawtrol. I love that she took the time to get to know us. We sat outside on the patio - nice views of the course. I ordered the prime rib chili. It wasn't too bad. Had a nice little spice to it and lots of cheese, would've loved a little more meat. The cornbread that came with it had the perfect crispy outer crust and soft on the inside. My husband got the buffalo wings which tasted good and the size of the wings were appropriate as well. Our little kiddo got the club sandwich from the kids menu and we were shocked at the quality and size of the sandwich. It came with plenty of bacon, avocado, and turkey. Needless to say, it was more than enough for our little guy. And the shoestring fries that came with it were perfectly salted and crispy! What really earns this place 5 stars though is the friendliness of the staff, especially our server. She was amazing!! Plan to come back for sure. read more

The Tap Room is a happening spot. Came here on a Saturday night at 8:15pm and it was packed. The restaurant is truly a golfers paradise with historical memorabilia all over. Started off with the calamari and prime beef skewers. For entrees we ordered the sea bass and the tap room burger. The sea bass was cooked perfectly, I highly recommend it with a crisp glass of Pinot Grigio! read more
Dinner at The Tap Room the night before our epic round at Pebble Beach, is an absolutely must! Ordered the prime rib plate with mac n' cheese, mushrooms and potatoes for sides. The rest of the guys ordered steaks and every dish was on point, cooked perfectly, seasoned well and plenty of flavor. Our waiter was incredibly courteous, friendly and attentive including bringing a second round of drinks because he knew we wouldn't be saying no! Capped off the dinner with dessert and we were ready for the next day on the course! read more

I brought my boyfriend to eat here for his birthday! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was very welcoming and the host was super sweet![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was attentive and helpful:) I made a reservation here with a comment that it was a birthday celebration; I wish there was more sort of desert or even a candle but it's okay!! The service here is impeccable. Of course I did not note the name of the bartenders but we ate here 3 times and they were ALL terrific. I'm guessing the drinks were over priced, but it's at Pebble Beach, so why not? We stayed four days and relied on the tap room to fill us up daily. The chili is a go-to. Don't miss it. read more
First dinner stop during our week long golfing get-away and it was a great choice. With many options to choose from, I opted for a Caesar side salad (they can do half salads - just ask) and the pork chop. Both were excellent and tasted wonderful after a long afternoon of golf. Husband got the filet steak and it was cooked to perfection. He also started with a side salad choosing the wedge salad option. They have very high-end steak options which I'm sure where amazing. Our service was excellent. Valet took care of our car. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. It's definitely up-scale but patrons were dressed in jeans to golf attire to dresses and all felt comfortable. Sports were broadcast all around to not miss your favorite golfer or star in any sport. I came here for lunch the day before father's day with my son and wife. I have been here before, and I love the atmosphere. We ordered potato skins, bacon cheese burger, Kansas City strip steak, asparagus in hollandaise sauce and macaroni and cheese along with various drinks. When we arrived I was quite hungry by design, we ordered and received our cocktails promptly. The potato skins arrived shortly, we were disappointed that there was only 4, but they did taste good. The rest of our food did not arrive for 30 minutes. My son had the bacon cheese burger, he liked it, and I had the last couple of bites and it was delicious and high quality, meat was excellent and the bacon peppered. The steak was awesome. The asparagus was exceptional and a good value. The macaroni and cheese was ok, maybe it would taste better once it cooled down. I noticed for lunch that nearly everyone was getting sandwiches or soup/chili. read more
