Really neat park to bring the family all year long!…read more Lots of free parking around their area for either the splash pad/rink, or to the restaurants on the Main Street. There's a change room/washroom off the building so that's really helpful. The water is constantly moving from one end and drains at the other, it's wading level(can't swim this) so just below knees but way over the ankles, there are kids having the greatest time here, people in swim wear and lounging on the beach chairs along the water way, a large shaded pavilion you could picnic on(bring blanket as there looked to be 2 tables). Definitely will be back with water toys for my toddler, and also as an excuse to visit the Maid's Cottage across the park for butter tarts , or grab lunch and drinks at Brew Hops

I love my town, trying not to be BIAS but it is an amazing community. No admission fees, free parking - bring your own chairs and enjoy the game with the town of Newmarket! They had a drinking section that was gated off - a bar in the back of the event. They had an ice cream truck and a food truck - Sinfully (I think) and the Newmarket Lion Club had stations set up selling drinks and snacks. It was great to see the community come together and show their support for our beloved Raptors. It was so much fun.

Ugh, I hate coming to this Canada Post. I honestly would rather drive out of my way to go to…read moreanother post office in Aurora or East Gwillimbury. They have the same woman working here every single time, I think she manages the place.. she's quite old and works verrrrry slow. Do not come here if you are in a rush. Every time I'm in line, I'm met with a "I'll be a few minutes" as she organizes papers in front of me. Then when I try to mail something out by lettermail, she always takes the package (super thin) and tries to shake it through the practice slot (to see if it can fit) - instead of pulling/pushing it through like a normal postman or even a regular human would do, she holds the plastic slot thing and drops the letter through the slot and tries to shake it through until it falls by itself. She then kisses her teeth and says "can't you flatten it more?" and once she said "it went through but they'll probably send it back because it's too thick" .... it literally was NOT too thick, it got sent through and I've never had these problems other than at this specific CP. I have an online side business where I ship things out almost weekly and never have I had such issues other than this one Canada Post. At every other CP, they will pull it through the slot, charge me the amount and I'm free to go. She always makes a fuss about a small package being 'too big' for the slot & won't even try to pull it through. (and when it does go through, she acts annoyed and warns me about the post office man not going to take it- which has never happened) This has happened several times-I will not be returning to this Canada Post because it's just annoying to deal with her little remarks and reluctance to send my mails. Pro tip- go to the Canada Post @ Leslie/Davis.

When the man in front of was being helped another staff had just come out and was able to help me. I thought I had seen online that if you're unable to print they can do it at one of these centers. Apparently not but the staff was still able to print out a temporary license for me. I don't think I was in there for more then five minutes tops.

I recently had an unpleasant experience with the customer service at this service Ontario location…read more After taking a number and waiting 30 min was greeted by an unhelpful employee. Despite having all the necessary documentation the employee was dismissive throughout the entire process and claimed that original paperwork was needed in order to process my request for an APP. This was not the case as I was able to obtain the permit from the Bradford service Ontario office with the same emailed copies of the application in hand. They made no effort to explain or show me where it is stated that original copies are necessary which is odd in this day and age of e-signatures being accepted throughout. Instead, they seemed content to rush me out the door as quickly as possible. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I received. It felt like the employee lacked the knowledge of what a acceptable and not acceptable permit application is. While I understand that every business has its off-days, the experience left me with a negative impression and I would hesitate to visit this office in the future.

By providing free wifi access for all visitors without the need of a library card or guest pass,…read morethat is worth an extra 1 star!!

I don't know about outsiders but as a resident of Newmarket and now a member of the library, I can…read morespeak lots about it. I have only been a member of the Toronto Public Library before. The first thing that surprised me is that they had game CDs for PS3, Xbox, Wii ...other consoles and you could keep them for one week...beat that Toronto Public Library! The other cool thing is there is no limit on the number of items that can be issued to you. The free wifi is always a plus. The registration process was much smoother than the Toronto Public Library too. We just had to take our address proof and they had a computer where we could just make an account and use our own username (unlike typing in the tediously long library card number). Then we get a confirmation number...just take a picture of it to the reception and they will issue you a card. They even have a small card for your keychain which makes it really convenient. The library staff is always friendly and helpful. I haven't really spent time reading in the library so I cannot comment on the usability of the space. There are two drop boxes for returns, one near the Sears in Upper Canada Mall and the other one is in front of the library itself. Somehow, I have never had an issue with parking here but it does seem very limited.
