But our boys are enthusiasts and want to go again (but more of Class IV) - it was pretty mild, but like I said, great 1st experience. Quick drive from Town Center in Big Sky - like 10 minutes. Do your waiver and payment on-line for seamless check-in. It was a nice day with obviously cold water - we didn't rent any special gear, and were totally fine. Water starts to feel good (at least if you have a nice day like we did). Wear your Teva's or water shoes! About a 20 minute drive to where you take off. Hope for a great guide - we had Kyle and he made our trip exceptional. We were going through dips and "whitewater" that other rafts were passing by. He was very experienced, had a great personality and had a lot of knowledge about the surroundings. Thanks Kyle!! Return is roughly 35 minutes back, where you can view your photos. The photographers are phenomenal, but pricey - $125 for all the digitals. There is an option to choose 1 or 3 photos, but there are so many great pic's, you'll want them all! Don't forget to bring cash to tip your guide - if you forget (like we did), you can Venmo. Great times.

We got the wet suits and booties which was only like $7/person total. I'd highly recommend getting it. Kept us warm. We did that Level 3-4. My kids are 16 and 19 and loved every bit and want to do it again. I felt like the level 3-4 was doable though we had some close calls. Out of the 6 raft's no one went over. Theses guides are skilled. The time is exhilarating and serene at the same time. You get to to tip your guide after. We also choose to get a digital photo which the photographer does an incredible job capturing our moments. After you get to enjoy some of the best hot chocolates in town or coffee. This establishment is legit. It's a bit pricey after everything is done but so worth the experience with the family!

Unfortunately, the first pullover started developing pulls almost immediately. One particularly long pull in the front snagged on something as minor as my cuticle--something that shouldn't even be possible. I also noticed additional pulls on the back, even though I had been careful with it. When I went into the store to discuss the issue, an employee was empathetic and directed me to the manager. However, the manager--a brunette helping a customer with ski goggles--was completely dismissive. When I explained the situation, she responded with, "Oh, it must have pulled on something." I acknowledged that it caught on my nail, but I was shocked that such an expensive pullover would be so fragile. Rather than offering any assistance or even engaging in a conversation about product quality, she quickly shut it down, saying they couldn't do anything since I had already had it for a few days. For a store selling high-end outdoor gear, I expected better durability and customer support. Spending around $130, I at least hoped for a discussion about quality assurance or a possible exchange. Instead, I was met with indifference. It felt like they cater more to tourists passing through than to customers who actually care about their purchases. If you're looking for durable gear from a store that stands behind its products, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Taylor put some foam things on the shins to make it more comfortable but it still wasn't so he got me a different boot that had pressure in different places and felt better. Ashley helped me with the skis for this new boot. Very appreciative of the attention and kindness of the staff at this location. :)

We booked the small cabin with a queen bed and an extra rollout bed for our party of two adults and one 12 year old. We were happy to find some extra amenities available for us borrow including a fishing pole and tackle box. And a hot cup of coffee was always available. The owners were attentive and quite friendly but also let us keep to ourselves. Nearby attractions that we enjoyed include historic Nevada and Virginia City, Yellowstone, and fishing and rick hounding in the nearby mountains. We would book again. Great vacation!
