The food I had in the restaurant was delicious! The food I ordered for Mother's Day was awful. Cold chicken, burned cake(black) and they gave me Brussel sprouts instead of collard greens. This visit did not go so well. All local restaurants are struggling for help and the Table is no different. I feel the customer doesn't need to take the brunt of that. Maybe only seat the number of people the staff can reasonably handle. The food was good. More stars for the food, but the servers and kitchen seemed overwhelmed. Reservation at 7pm, arrived right on time and were seated. Maybe 10 minutes later someone asked if anyone had waited on us. They took our drink and appetizer order. 15 minutes later one drink came with the explanation that only one person working was over 21 and could pour drinks. Five or ten more minutes later the remainder of the drinks came. The wait person assured us on a couple of occasions that the appetizers would be right out. After an hour and ten minutes our dinners arrived and the waitress told us we would not be getting appetizers. She did not know why the kitchen did not make them, or they were taken to another table or the kitchen lost the ticket. So apparently the assurances that the appetizers would be right out is just something wait people say without actually checking on them. The service was excellent for our party of 10 on a Saturday night! Our waitress was on top of our orders which included some diners with allergies and gluten free needs. The food was fantastic we started with caprese salad, fried green tomatoes and French fries. The French fries were phenomenal! All our meals from seafood to steak and meatloaf were wonderful. I especially enjoyed the blueberry pork chop. The blood orange margarita was fantastic. For desert we had an assortment of ice cream, cookies and brownies! The ambiance was casual and comfortable! We were visiting the area for a few days and stumbled upon this restaurant. It was absolutely delicious! The waitress was very kind and helpful and the food was FANTASTIC. We had pumpkin bisque, a candied pecan and goat cheese salad, a fish sandwich, a chicken salad crossiant and a basket of fries. It was all wonderful. I would highly recommend this place!! Good but not great. We went on a Fri night and because we did not have a reservation we had to sit at the bar. It got very crowded so it is clearly a popular place. It's a small place so not a lot of tables anyway. The salads that came with our dinner were great and the dressings were very good. I got crab cakes which had lots of crab meat and tasted like a crab cake should. The roasted baby potatoes and haircot vert were an afterthought and needed salt. Hubby got the chicken potpie which was loaded with chicken but very bland and the crust was not cooked through. We got very good service even with the large crowd. All in all, a little pretentious and pricey but not terrible. read more

Ate here for lunch memorial weekend. Surprisingly we were the only table for awhile. The food was good but quite a wait for a lack of other customers. My crab cake sandwich was great and had very little filler in it. My husband loved his quiche but even with the side salad he said it wasn't very filling. Our son said the fried oyster sandwich was good but it didn't even come with fries. I think that for the price it could have been a little better but we enjoyed it anyway and will probably go back. read more

OH.MY.GOSH. It was that good! You HAVE to try this place. I was stuck in Deltaville for a little while so I asked someone local where to eat.... This was number one on the list. It is located in a little strip mall so you could easily drive right by a never know it was even there- so keep your eyes peeled! Everything on the menu looked good and everything I saw looked very good and very fresh. I tried the wrap with short ribs. I also sampled some of my friends salad... YUM ! Some cons - sat at a dirty table and when staff came to clean it, he used an rag to wipe the bench ... then the table. Yikes. Please don't do that. Server suggested mojitos, which were delicious, honestly amazing. Unfortunately no one ever asked how they were or if we'd like another or even anything to drink until we got our check and the salty food had us VERY thirsty by then. We ordered a Turkey panini and fried oyster po boy. The panini was pretty good, the apples and brie complimented each other perfectly. The po boy was missing the advertised gherkin Mayo and had a dijonaise on it instead, which was fine but not what was expected. The oysters were slightly underdone, the roll a little much for the oysters, really overwhelmed them. The basket of fries with chipotle dip was the absolute star - these were incredible. Hot and fresh, the star, we'd go back for these alone. Hidden gem. Unfortunately we didn't hang time for ice cream this visit, next time! read more

Absolutely love The Table and feel so lucky to have it in our charming little town of Deltaville! The food is delicious and well thought out...the presentation is beautiful. The service/staff go out of their way to make sure you are catered to and that your experience is memorable. There is a little Table-To-Go shop across the parking lot, complete with the most wonderful flavors of ice cream (my fav...strawberry balsamic !). Stopped in at The Table 9/8/18 for lunch and had the fried chicken sandwich with chipotle aioli and shared a fries basket between 3 of us. The sandwich and homemade fries were outstanding. The fries basket was huge and we couldn't polish off all the fries. The chipotle aioli that came on the sandwich as well as a side with the fries is excellent, but should probably be offered in its current heat level and a lower heat level, it's a quite a bit spicier than what is normally expected of a chipotle sauce. Great little surprise! I went with my family and we all ordered something different off the menu. I had the butternut squash, blue cheese, beet salad. It was fresh and fantastic! I like to try different things and I was not disappointed. Other family members enjoyed the crab cake, oyster poor boy sandwich, and chicken salad sandwich. All positive reports from folks who don't mind sharing their opinions about food. The place is a comfortable venue, with order at the counter set up. We got lunch, and dessert (omg the paleo peanut butter chocolate thing was perfect), and then came back later to get takeout containers of food with us for dinner. This was our first visit to this lovely and friendly gem of a restaurant. We had a simple but flavorful meal. My friend and I both got the Oyster Po'boy. We loved the pickled onion and the flavors in the light sauce. I had the delicious beet salad and my friend had the slaw. I only wish we had room for the peach bread pudding dessert! We visited The Table at Wilton many times over the summer. In fact, we're joining friends there tonight. The folks there are really friendly, helpful and johnny-on-the-spot efficient. But it's the food that brings us back. No place in the area is even comparable.The menu is varied and the seafood always fresh and tasty. My family especially enjoys the fried clams (the real thing, too) and Wilton House salad. The only issue was that on Thursday night (early) they had run out of cod (the fish for the fish and chips dish) and evidently did not have staff to purchase some to tide them over from the seafood store across the way that was still open.
