I recently came here with a few of my daughters and we all got just an ice cream in a cup. 2 of my younger girls got the blue panda. Which is basically cookies and cream Ice cream with cotton candy flavoring. My oldest got an orange sherbet and I personally got a mint chocolate chip. All the ice creams had a really good flavor and nice creamy texture. Pricing wasn't too bad. Around $15 bucks for 4 ice creams that was decent sized scoops. Overall nice place that I'd you wanted tot could dine at restaurant next door and they will add it to the bill there. If not they had two small tables in lobby and two picnic tables out front. So there are other options.

As a first time customer I gave a name and email so they can put me in the system as some type of rewards program. I personally ordered a thin mint smoothie. They are one size only for adults. My daughter got a kids brownie batter smoothie with sprinkles. It took about 3 minutes to prepare and we got our smoothies and sat down at they lone picnic table inside to dine. My thin mint was pretty good. Knowing it's a protein shake and a healthier option I was mildly surprised about how good the flavor was. Pretty good taste. Had some cookie crumbles at the bottom that I enjoyed as well. Straw was big enough to get all the goodies too. So that was nice. My second youngest who is 6 at first said "mmm This is good" and it slowly turned into "it isn't that great" and I'd say she ultimately drank about half the drink. I sample it and it was good. Nice strong chocolate flavor. Tasted like a normal chocolate shake to me personally. So being it's a healthy snack I'd call that a win for them. My biggest gripe would be they are way too expensive. Cost me over $15 before tip for a regular drink and a kids drink. I get it. It's healthier and they always want to charge you to make healthy body decisions in our world. However, if I'm being honest or blunt with an opinion, in that area of town and location those prices aren't going to cut it. It's not a bad area to say but it's not exactly high end and people in bullitt county generally aren't they type to spend $7 on a healthy shake. I'd be more inclined to come back if the shake was around $4 or so. Not saying I won't come back but at those rates I won't make a special trip. I've only stopped at this location a few times over the years usually for some blizzards. On national chains like this I never rate based on food. Most people know if they like Dairy Queen or not by now. Me personally I love blizzard and the food is just ok. They got a good chili cheese dog but the rest for me is just ok. This location does solid on the service. They usually actually do the dump upside down test on your blizzards so they aren't always melted. They process the line at a decent speed and have gotten my order correctly for large majority of the the time. Overall solid and very well placed location that's perfect for grabbing a cold treat after a fun day in the sun at nearby kart country or if you are just in the Shepherdsville area as that city as of this writing has zero ice cream shops. The only competition is sonic down the road.
