SO rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful... We are long term vacation rental tenants in a high rent location while finding a home in La Jolla.
In working through our lease, Jim Sullivan and his wife were beyond nasty about having to change a lease agreement to six additional months. Uh, isn't this more money for them in their pocket for a La Jolla vacation rental? We moved on and did not address the matter thinking maybe he was just having a bad day. I mean, what kind of person would complain about having to do a little more work for a lot more money??
Do not allow them to manage your property either, they are terrible to tenants. I was having lunch with my toddler and was never informed a showing was going to occur until they were knocking at my door. I let the realtor enter to view the property without notice and when calling Jim and his wife to politely inform them, they got upset and were rude to me, implying I was making it up. Safety was my biggest concern with strangers showing up and not expecting them. What mom would feel good about that when she is alone with her child? WOW... My husband contacted them to discus my previous conversation with them and they both began yelling at my husband. These two have no bedside manners and don't realize you can't treat people that way without consequences. Beyond disrespectful and unprofessional. There was no thank you for letting the realtor in unannounced or apologies for their giant mistake. I have worked with many realtors and property managers with selling and renting homes all over the US and have never been disrespected or had any problems until now. This is a situation where potential buyers or tenants would not be interested because these two make it so painful and difficult. Do yourself a favor and steer WAY clear.
FYI: these matters have nothing to do with their son JR. read more
