For more than thirty years, this store has populated the underbelly of this ugly parking deck that replaced the majestic and irreplaceable Kimball House. And I find it absurd that it doesn't have a single review up here. It's one of the better men's clothing stores downtown.
The Style Craft has a huge selection of colorful men's clothing, including lots of linen. The spread spans from standard casual fare to extremely fine suits. The selection is different every time you walk in, and that selection includes new items, unworn vintage items, and lightly used items.
Their ties and socks are mad groovy, they have a tailor on staff who'll do just about everything for an extra few dollars, the owner is extremely welcoming and accommodating, and the prices are much lower than you'd expect. (For example, new ties for $10, linen suits around $120, slacks around $25, used items at all of $5.)
The store is mostly for men, but they do have a few items for women too.
This place rocks. Check it out. read more
