Efrain responded to communications quickly and politely, and even stopped by the house to assess the space for recommendations. I ended up with a 30x30 tent, 10 long tables, 3 cocktail tables, and 80 chairs (upgrade) for around $900. This was comparable or better than various other quotes I received. I'd say the only confusing portion of the process was the varying prices between types of tents that are the same size (rope vs pole...etc). But, a quick in person conversation remedied this. Efrain and the team showed up on time two days before the event for set up, and the morning following the event for pick up. They were quiet for pick up (which we appreciated due to early hour on a Sunday). He also told me to give him a call prior to the event to let him know if I needed anything else. Highly recommended!

We were able to use the mirror as our wedding seating chart and worked with one of their preferred vendors to print our wedding guestlist on vinyl. I then emailed them and sent them pictures that the pieces were missing. No one got back to me. I was devasted that my room didn't not have the look I wanted. My Venues Maitre D' told me a piece of my table was missing and my cake swing needed to be glued and there wasn't time for it. The next week I got in touch with the owner of evolution who told me that my venue would not allow them to finish setting up and threw them out. If that were the case i don't understand why they didn't tell me that. No call no notification. They were at my wedding and could have found me and told me. Now they will not even reimburse me for the missing pieces. I have been emailing them to this day. My wedding was back in June.

This company is not based in Manhattan, and in my experience, they have absolutely no understanding of how to operate or coordinate deliveries and pickups in the city. Manhattan venues have strict access schedules, building requirements, and limited delivery windows. This company seems completely unprepared to handle any of that. There is no customer service. The owner, Scott Gorky, answers the calls himself, yet repeatedly forgets or contradicts what was previously agreed upon. I specifically discussed delivery and pickup times when placing my order. On the morning of my event, I called to reconfirm the schedule, only to have Scott deny what we had discussed. And threaten me to cancel the order just hours before the event. He was an extremely short temper. The delivery arrived nearly an hour early, when no one was at the venue. This was a rented event space, not my residence, which I had made very clear. To make matters worse, I paid for 40 chairs and received only 38. When I requested a refund for the two missing chairs, he said he would. However I still don't have the refund. It's been 5 days since the event. I had also explicitly arranged for same-day pickup because the venue was not my property. Despite this, the chairs were not collected as agreed. I repeatedly tried to reach him to resolve the situation. I made it clear that the chairs needed to be collected by 12 PM and that, if they were not picked up, I would have no choice but to leave them outside the door because I had no further access to the rented space. Immediately after that phone conversation, I received a $400 charge on my credit card. The chairs were eventually picked up, yet these charges were still imposed! What was most disturbing was Scott's behavior on the phone. He was rude, insulting, and aggressive. He also made comments that I found racist and offensive toward Spanish-speaking people. Which I am. This company failed to deliver the full order, disregarded agreed-upon scheduling arrangements, refused to refund missing equipment, and imposed $400 in additional charges despite eventually collecting its chairs. If you are organizing an event in Manhattan, I would strongly recommend finding a company that actually understands the logistics of operating here and respects its customers. I would never rent from this company again. Completely unprofessional from beginning to end

I rented a 20x20 high top tent along with tables and chairs for my husbands 30th birthday. Anne from the main office was great about getting in contact with me before to let me know when the crew would be coming through for delivery and all of the pre-event details. On the day of, Pat & the crew came through right on time during the delivery window and were set up in less than 30 minutes!! We planned a 10 yr anniversary party for my youngest daughter. The guest list kept growing so we…read moredecided to have a backyard party. In covering all the aspects of the party I thought about the possibility of weather issues. So I decided a tent would be the solution. I called around for a couple of quotes but after speaking to Justin from Magnif-A-Tent I knew I was heading in the right direction. When the guest list was completed we had 125 guests coming. Not being exactly sure of what size tent we would need, Justin came to my house to measure out the yard to find the best location and to see how big a tent we would need. He laid out a plan for a 30 x 60 tent with an adjoining 20 x 20 tent for a dance floor, and for good measure a 10 x 10 tent for the DJ. Justin and his crew showed up Friday morning and spent 7 hrs setting up these tents along with tables, linens and chairs. Saturday morning it was raining and Justin and another fellow showed up early in the morning to double check that everything was perfect and we would have no problems. The party began and the weather cooperated as best it could. Party was fabulous and went off without a hitch because of Magnif-A-Tent. Do I recommend them. Well if you have to ask then you haven't read this review. If I every need a tent there's only one number I'll call.
