Leeanne was amazing. the prices were very good and she delivered the balloons to the venue and did an amazing job. she also helped me with putting together some of the decorations that she was not responsible for. The girl at the counter was so nice in helping me select the colors that would match best with the center balloon design I selected. This is my go-to to order for any occasion I have because it's a perfect centerpiece and can be moved all over for wherever I need to decorate. I have never in my life been treated so rudely when I called to complain about a DJ we hired. He appeared in a t-shirt and jeans. The DJ looked like he rolled out of bed. He sat all night, did nothing to add some character to an environment which was a sophisticated party of mature adults. When contacting the management post party I was treated with a series of profane and vulgar statements, attacking me personally. We have used this company 3 times for our grandchildren's' celebrations. No matter whether our criticisms were valid to Party Hardy, never did I expect them to be so crude and disrespectful. All that glitters is not gold and the ownership and management of this company is just plain dreadful. read more

I can't thank party hardy and the owner enough for always being so easy to work with. They outdid themselves for my son's baptism and my guest couldn't believe how adorable the centerpieces came out. I didn't want to go too crazy on decorations and the balloons were the perfect amount. I sent a photo of an idea I found online and she matched it SPOT ON. Great local business that had everything for our high school graduation party. We got their local school logo balloons that they offer along with the logo cups with the high school name and mascot on them too! I would agree with another review that states this store has horrible customer service. The owner/manager is highly unprofessional and rude. Long story short we had an expensive order that was not finished on time when our party had started. When trying to be credited for the disaster this manger could not of been more inconsiderate and obnoxious. Like pulling teeth. To get back money's which are rightfully yours. I am very disappointed with my experience at the Party Hardy in Miller Place. I went in last Thursday to purchase a helium tank to take to the city for a baby shower for my daughter on Saturday. When we attempted to use the tank to inflate the balloons we discovered it was EMPTY!!! We ended up just blowing up other balloons and sticking them to the walls ... NOT at all the effect of what we wanted to do in the swanky NYC resturant. When I brought the tank (with the reciept) back to Party Hardy in Miller Place on the following Wednesday (today) I spoke with a woman name Judy (I assume she was the manager, although she never introduced herself). She told me that she couldn't accept an empty tank back and that she would have to have the owner contact me. She made me feel as if she thought I had use the helium and returned an empty tank!!! I told her that I could show her the photos of the party to show that the balloons were never filled and she told me she didn't want to see my pictures. She also told me she didn't want the tank back. She never once gave any indication that she was sorry that I had had a problem or apologized for my inconvience. All she kept saying was that in the 8 years she worked there, she had never had a customer complain about an empty tank ... well she did today, and she could have cared less. I would have expected her to care more about a happy customer then the trivial $39.08!!! Fortunately I had paid for the helium tank with my American Express card and immediately filed a complaint with them. The woman at AMEX was VERY sympathetic and said that they would take it from there. read more
