Booked a 10x20 unit online. Paid in advance with my card…read more Loaded my belongings up, bought one lock and headed over there. Gate code I entered during my lease signup did not work. Called in. They said come back later. 2 hours later, my gate code still did not work. This time they let me in when I called. Found my unit and discovered that it was not a 10x20 unit, but two 10x10 units. (Remember, I bought ONE lock) One of the units they assigned me had a company lock on it. Called in for a third time. They gave me the code to that lock, and told me to drop it in the drop box at the front of the property. THEN, I found a junk motorcycle inside that unit. Called back a fourth time. (Understand that this is a menu driven call system and that each call took a long time) They said that they had no 10x20 units after all but could cancel my lease and re-enroll me for two separate 10x10 units at about twice the price that I had already paid since there was an abandoned motorcycle in one of the units I had leased.... I wasted a half a day with this process and wound up removing my things and cancelling my lease after 4 hours. These units were dirty, poorly maintained and a huge waste of time. The roll up doors were difficult to open and close and both of the units they leased me needed cleaning. Find a place that is concerned with more than just your money. This is not a local company and every time I called them for assistance I got a different person.

Which it did. We took it back to our apartment and loaded half of the van. Took a break and came back, took our moving wagon out and there were roaches crawling in them. We shook it out and 3 fell out. Opened the back doors and saw one crawling on the tv box. We had to take out the tv box and remove the contents inside to make sure there weren't any inside. Another was crawling around on the bookshelf. It was so disappointing and disgusting.

I asked if I could reschedule for Saturday, and they said they don't deliver u-boxes on the weekends. Wtf?! I start my new job on Monday and guess when my boxes will now be delivered. Yep! Monday. Most people work. How is it they dont deliver on the weekend? Is this just a Louisiana thing? I didn't have any trouble at all in Florida!
