One of the plays they put on wasn't to my liking, but it had won Tony awards and the performances were excellent. Like most theaters, they do a combination of newer and classic plays. They have a program for kids also. There is usually an intermission where they serve a limited selection of drinks and snacks. The theater is worth supporting, and once I am past some medical issues I plan to become a subscribing member.

There are simple refreshments available for purchase. The seats are sufficiently spacious, padded, and comfy. The way the theater is set up, you can't really get a bad seat. We arrived 2 minutes late for a sold-out show and parking was a bit problematic. I recommend arriving early! BUDDY HOLLY STORY My husband wanted to see this. Honestly, I wasn't looking forward to it. But it was a very good show. The acting performances were much better than I've seen in other theater companies (coughmadcowcough) and the music was a joy to watch. I sat next to an older gentleman who lived during the time period of this show and he very much enjoyed it, saying he wanted to see it again. QUALITY COMPARED TO OTHER LOCAL THEATERS This is the top reason I recommend you make the drive out here. I've been to a few different theaters around the Orlando area and I thought this theater was significantly better. The environment is much more spacious and comfortable, the acting and performance was much more engaging and convincing, and they seem to have either more talented people or more resources to pull off a much better stage and set design, costumes etc. I get the impression these people are professionals.

The staff were so sweet and accommodating and when we sat in our seats, a staff member took the stage to tell us about all the upcoming plays and a little about the theatre. I thought this was such a nice detail and it made me make a mental note to keep tabs on their upcoming shows, many of which sound amazing and are things I can't wait to check out! The theatre itself is small but the stage is decently sized and every seat in the house has a pretty darn good view which is awesome! The production itself was well thought out with attention to detail in the sets, costume design, and the choice of actors. The cast did a phenomenal job and I was super happy with our choice of attending the show for date night! Can't wait to go back :)

My friends read the first paragraph of the program which included a political slur intended to appeal to pro-Trumpers. They asked if we could leave and find another restaurant for the evening. I told them I had already paid for non-refundable tickets. The tickets came to a little over $50 each. We stayed. The program had a typo and the inside was printed upside down. We lowered our expectations for the evening. The room was very noisy and crowded with lots of stark white flat surfaces so it was hard to hear the actors and nearly impossible for dinner conversation. The plot of the murder mystery experience was a little chaotic but some of the actors were good in their roles. The guests with the greatest quantity of empty wine bottles on their tables seemed to have the best time. Also the frequent Biden-bashing got big laughs from same. We did initially ask about the anti Biden "joke" in the program. They told us that they would also tell anti trump jokes. This was not the case. It was a loud, offensive evening and I was happy when it was over. 3 stars because the food portions were large.

Eustis began taking shape in the 1870s, when post‑Civil War settlers moved into the Florida frontier and homesteaded along the eastern shore of Lake Eustis. The community first went by names like Highlands and Pendryville before adopting the name Eustis in honor of Colonel Abraham Eustis, who had served in the region during the Seminole Wars. Early life revolved around steamboat travel on the interconnected Harris Chain lakes, but the arrival of the St. Johns and Lake Eustis Railway in 1880 pushed the settlement toward true cityhood with stores, churches, hotels, and a growing citrus industry. After driving 50 minutes to get there and arriving 30 minutes before show time we see that the place is gated shut. Closed. I assume either the show was cancelled and they did not have the courtesy to notify their patrons or they are scammers. I called the theatre after waiting around a few minutes and there was no answer. It was very disappointing after my husband and I got dressed up for our date night out only for this to happen.
