This was my first time to the Star Bistro in Cheltenham. My mum told me how great the Ullenwood location was, and as we were in Cheltenham during lunchtime, we decided to get something to eat here.
We both had the butternut squash and feta salad- not sure what I was expecting, but I was blown away by how good it was. I'd live on salad if they all tasted this good. Sweet dressing, roasted(?) butternut squash, and a super generous helping of feta, sprinkled with sesame seeds/pumpkin seeds etc. The whole salad was huge, definitely value for money.
My sister had the Thai green chicken (laksa soup?) and said it was great too.
Super friendly service by everyone we met.
Thanks guys, will definitely be back. Great little restaurant and really good work done there! read more
