Great food, puts the usual currys to shame. That said you do pay for it! Nice decor and very friendly & attentive staff.

A group of us went here on business expecting great things, everything was OK but very expensive.

Pretty good Indian all round. Del boy style decor but great service and good choice of food…read more Decent price and good portions.

The manager needs to learn the following important lessons in customer service…read more 1. If your customer has a complaint, say that they've been ignored for an extensive period of time, even though the restaurant is emptying - don't try and simply argue that "they are wrong." Why? It just makes them more annoyed and validates their complaint. 2. Try and change the customers perceptions tactfully. In the case above meeting the complaint with tact and an apology rather than anger would definitely have made the whole thing better. Perhaps even a heartfelt, "I apologize we have been busy... or we are understaffed..." or whatever is the root cause of the complaint would have been better than aggressively pushing back. 3. Try and make it better. This is optional, a customer certainly shouldn't ask for something, but a small gesture certainly would have made any ill feeling go away. Try it, it may work. So it's a pigs fly day when I complain about a restaurant, the food is good and I go to the Indus when I am back in Cheltenham frequently. I will rethink that in future. My complaint wasn't unreasonable, malicious or nasty. To get pushback and told "I'm wrong" isn't a reasonable response from a service provider. I was left feeling I was a "bad customer" for having the temerity to spend 130 GBP in there (and much more in the past) and expect a basic level of service, or a polite response to a complaint. Try and do better please, for the sake of your future customers.
