Would give minus if could for terrible aftercare. My sister and I travelled from Yorkshire for a family event. We didn't have many choices being Sunday evening. We went to Standing Stones, ambience not good, there was a loud man kicking his shoes across the Room, but whatever. I ordered from the menu, using app. I admit, I made an error as ordered two bottles of wine instead of one bottle and two glasses. The nice waitress was surprised and offered to refund one bottle. I would have taken the second home, but agreed to be refunded. Meal was ok, but have had better. We left the bar and eventually returned to Yorkshire. I waited for the refund, after two weeks nothing. I chased them up and was told had to "pop in for refund" of course that is not possible given the distance. I was told no other way, REALLY????? they then accused me of being rude when I pushed it. They then said they told me at the time would have to claim refund at bar... If that had been said, I would not have left bar with out the refund. I contested this and the lied and said that they listened to CCTV and they confirmed it was said. A that is not possible and They are recording private conversations??? When challenged that, I got blocked. I would not recommend this establishment at all read more
