Unfortunately, like so many other DB food trucks, The Spot suffers from thinking that adding Doritos and hot cheetos to everything automatically makes it better. The meats are very well seasoned and the consome for the birria was very tasty, but the addition of cheetos and Doritos is very offputting. The best dishes were the birria tacos and the steak crunchwrap (both without chips). We also got the Oklahoma Burger and it was so rich, decadent, and fatty that I could feel my blood becoming more viscous with each bite; so I'd say it's not a must have. read more

I have not had anything beyond the best with everything I have ordered from them, The guys on the truck are so nice and always friendly. The wait time is pretty standard as your food is being COOKED while you wait. Generally I sit in the car for about 10 mins and I'm done or close to being done. Waited over 40 minutes for a birria ramen and a crunch wrap. I watched several people who ordered after me get their food first. When I finally got mine, it wasn't even hot. The crunch wrap had dry, not-so-fresh chicken, and the Hot Cheetos inside were soggy with no crunch at all--tasted old. The birria ramen barely had any meat, just noodles and broth. This is a challenging review - the birria taco I got was amazing but the wait for it was making me lose my cool. Food trucks have limited menus and should be able to crank out the food. When you're at an event you don't want to wait 15 minutes for a taco, I don't understand why they don't have some things pre-prepped to move things along. Was at the Hotel Royal Oak for one of their parking lot concerts and they were the food truck.
