The mini taquitos and the flautas looks exactly the same. Both are good. The beans had cheese on them, was easy to pick off, since it hardened quickly. The beans were super thick and rather hard and quite quickly, is that from the lard? Wasn't into it much after a few bites. Had to ask for more chips and more house salsas a couple of times. Tacos aren't bad. Taquitos and flautas are both good.

Now, its food truck sits right at the corner of Vernor and the Fisher Freeway, less than a mile away from the original spot. It's currently open Friday-Sunday. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The charcoal-grilled chicken, traditional tacos, and shrimp quesadilla were all worth getting. So much so, I sat outside in 45 degree weather to eat my meal while it was fresh. The salsa is nice and has a little bit of spice but Everything else was lacking flavor and salt. The veggie fajitas only came with tortillas, no rice beans salsa, side salad nothing. The torta did not have beans in it. The enchiladas were lacking flavor same as their rice and beans Liz we asked for side sauce and the gave us green tomatillo sauce but again not much flavor. They never came to offer refills on water and even when we asked for it they never brought it. I think that was more of an understaffed place. The ambiance was great it is a lovely well decorated space and their shop next door is great we got some churros that were fresh and warm. I really hope next time we have better luck with the food.

The food truck is parked close to the welcoming center in Southwest Detroit at the entrance from Canada. There are outdoor seating areas in the vicinity where people could walk or drive to and enjoy their food if going home is too far. This is the kind of food that you'd want to eat hot and right away. The service/wait time was on point. The ordering/pick-up was smooth. I ordered the asada fries, a birria taco with consume, and birria Ramen. All items were good, but not amazing. They each could've used much more flavor. The meats seemed low grade. If better ingredients were used, these items would have been much tastier. I also expected my total to be a little less if I'm comparing this food truck to others in the area. With all of that said. I would go back for the Ramen, bringing a bottle of Sazon with me.

The food here is amazing. The birria tacos were packed with flavor, and at $2.50 each, they're an unbeatable deal. But the real star for me was the burrito--this thing had to weigh at least a pound!
