From Doug's I went with their special--a blue moon soft serve served with strawberry soft served, dipped in sprinkles. It was so good! The flavor profiles of both weren't as strong as hard pack blue moon and strawberry ice creams but they were still very obviously blue moon and strawberry and tasted great together. The sprinkles were also a great texture. Just slightly crunchy but not hard. I'm very picky about my sprinkles and they've got good ones! Also, I ordered a small and it was HUGE. I couldn't finish it! Next time I'm definitely going to try a sundae or a "Dougie" but even with a soft serve you can't go wrong!

It was drowning in relish, so the bun was soggy and the whole thing tasted very sweet. It also needed some celery salt. The hot dog itself had a very thick casing and kind of a chewy texture. The french fries were way over salted, but were served fresh and hot. With less salt, they would have been incredible. They also give you a very large portion - could easily be shared by 2-3 people.

They are most famous for their Kookie Monster flavor...a nostalgic blue color that's favorite of both kids and adults. You can find their food truck at various events in the area, food truck rallies at the Royal Oak Farmers Market and Urbanrest Brewing Co. Treat Dreams now shares its space with 4 other food vendors in Ferndale's first food hall called Pavilion Street Market.
