In the past, no matter where I went, I never paid more than my $35.00 copay when getting an eye-exam for glasses. Went to another eye-doctor and was told everyone has eyelash mites but my condition was average like everyone else. Told not worry about using the eyedrops but I had already received this $2,240.00 very small bottle of eyedrops. What I liked: -State of the art testing -Quick appointment with little waiting time -Exam Rooms and waiting areas were clean What I disliked -Very limited men's frames selection -While the staff was nice, they were not very personable. It didn't really feel like I was talking to a person, rather just a robot that was ready to get me out the door Overall, I left the place feeling very meh about it. As someone who was coming in for the first time I felt no attempt from anyone to try and build rapport. If you're someone who is antisocial and doesn't like your doctor talking to you much, then this place would be ideal for you. .

I was happy I was able to ger lenses placed in frames not bought here. When asked how long it would take, I was kind of surprised when she told me 2 weeks. The fact he's located inside the Baton Rouge Costco (#2) only makes the place that much better. Shop for stuff in bulk while getting an eye exam? Talk about multitasking. The process was simple: call and make an appointment and come to Costco. They take the COVID protocols quite seriously, which is great. No additional patients can be in the office at the same time and everyone is masked. I filled out some paperwork out in the waiting area and didn't have to wait long at all. One of the assistants helped me get started with an initial exam and some testing and it was painless and easy throughout the entire process. Once Dr. Duong came in to run additional tests, he was cordial, professional, and even a little funny. More importantly he was thorough with the examination, answered my questions, and had terrific bedside manner. He put me at ease (#3) and was frankly so good that I wish I could see him all the time.
