The fitout is floor to wall to roof lathered in white we have come today to indulge ourselves for 1 and half hours with the Total Time out package with a back,neck and shoulder massage a full body scrub and mini facial. The music transports me along with my consultant to the beauty rooms. She briefs me and then commences the massage. The massage is just how I like it nice and firm and my consultant does not chat too much which Im so grateful and pleases the selfish in me. For this reason alone she strikes a repoire with me. The products are made from natural products and they smell divine. This is my first time at the Spa as I have only visited The Space as its other personality that being a very classy wine bar for many birthdays and charity evenings. It is an intimate space set over two floors it used to be a intercom system with a camera that would allow the management to observe the potential visitors, all are welcome at The Space and the camera system was mostly used should all the staff were upstairs busy. It attracts an older crowd and you wont see the likes of messy Sunday night queuers like that seen at The Shore Bar. On the nights I have been there has been soul and jazz. My mini facial is coming to an end as I decide to purchase the summer spritzer. The impression of the spa was great, very glamorous at first look. Chanel picture on the wall and very clean. However the treatment wasn't very good comparing to the price. Actually I got this beautiful gift vouncher from my friend and I was very excited for it. When I finished my massage I was so frustrated that I went to another massage place to get a real one. $70 for a 30 mins massage and a terrible one. The "masseuse" was the recepcionist of the spa. I would not recommend at all and in fact there are several holistic massage places just nearby that would be half the price and the staff would be more qualified. Not nice! read more

Whatever you do DO NOT COME HERE! This place may have been great in the past, however it is now disgusting, amateurish and filthy. They had lost my booking and looked grumpy when I insisted I had one, even though my husband had only rung to book it for me an hour before I went, they left me cold and half naked when doing the body scrub, and offered a dirty worn-out towel only when I asked. They did a terrible job with the bikini wax, gave me a pedicure with no preparation and no attention to the cuticles, then gave me a robe which was grey with dirt where it had been worn before, and had a BROWN STAIN on the hem at the back, just where it was over my bottom. To add insult to injury they had crappy techno music playing from an iPod - serenity I don't think so! This place has not even bothered to alter the website - it is not now the Space Day Spa but under new ownership, the contact number is wrong on some pages, and it is DEFINITELY NOT as described in any previous reports. They charged my husband $240 for a package which was meant to spoil me, and instead they spoilt my day and left me in tears. If you want a serene and relaxing spa, massage and pedicure, for God's sake don't waste your time with this dirty rip-off!! read more
