I'm a New Yorker who has never gone to a salon outside of NY so I had no idea what to expect. After a lot of research I found Spa on Main and since I was in the MB area for close to a month I decided to give them a try--- and now I'm hooked. I sent an email after hours requesting an appointment and they promptly called first thing the next morning to confirm an appointment for me to get highlights and to cut my little girl's hair the next day. Upon arrival, I was wowed by the gorgeous building and space which is apparently less than 2 months old. The staff was warm and welcoming. Amanda did my highlights which turned out even better than the ones I get at home. She also gave my 7 year old her first big-girl haircut and it looks incredible. My daughter went from hair past her shoulders to a page-boy style and she LOVES it. Thank you Amanda and team for making our first experience a truly terrific one! I had attempted to home dye my hair blonde and it turned out pretty bad & ended up seeing them on FB and making an appointment... I was happy with how they got my hair color and made a follow up appointment. But I didn't expect my images to be used on their page as a meme/what not to do psa it's pretty embarrassing and awkward to have pictures of you out there as "what not to do" or "hair f*** ups" I mean you spend 300 dollars at a place and make a 350+ follow up appointment then you see your image on their page as a "hair f*** up" I'm kinda baffled by the unprofessional/juvenile behavior displayed there. read more

I've only gotten my eyebrows waxed here. Every time they fit me in, listen to what I ask for and actually do it. I've been to quite a few places in and around Myrtle Beach and they didn't listen to what I was asking for and either took to little off or barely too any off. I was in desperate need of a good cut and color. I had heard the Spa on Main was excellent. They are! Ashly gave me an excellent cut, taking time to make sure it was going to be perfect. The color was the best I've ever had. What impressed me the most was how much she cared that I would like the cut and color and how she spent time talking to me about the options available and her opinion on what would make my hair look the best. She took her time with the cut, meticulously cutting and shaping the cut. She is a very kind and friendly person as is everyone else there. The spa is gorgeous and offers many different services at very reasonable prices. It really is the best spa/salon I've visited and I've been to several top salons in the Northeast. The Spa on Main is a gorgeous little place in downtown Conway. The staff are friendly and professional. I first went for a manicure for my wedding, got a spur of the moment eyebrow wax while there and have been going back ever since. The simple things I have done are reasonably priced for the service and care you receive. I have not had the full experience, but I do know they do package deals and specials for couples, and moms-to-be, and things like that if you are purchasing for someone else. Definitely make an appointment to get pampered and see for yourself. read more
