PNP has lost its way. The locations are quickly becoming retro gaming museums with their incredibly…read morepriceless game collections up for sale. The prices in store or online are jacked up far beyond the values you'll find online at Price Charting in an attempt to future proof any game sale in the event that the "value" increases in the next 2-5 years. You will be far better served visiting Kijiji, FB Marketplace, eBay, Amazon, Etsy, AliExpress etc for your retro gaming needs and let this franchise price itself out of existence. Case in point: I watched PNP's Atari 2600 carts jump from $2.95 to $14.95 and much higher overnight. No one is getting those prices for Atari carts. PNP's Atari games were sitting there for a year and a half at $2.95 and NOT selling and now they increased them to $14.95? Ludicrous. Future Proofed! I haven't seen Atari carts jump in value in over 20 years - unless they're 100% complete or sealed. If you have an NES, SNES, Genesis, GameBoy, N64 etc and you want to play those great games again get yourself on Aliexpress and pay $30-60 for multicarts that have hundreds to thousands of games on them. They work. Trust me. I own many. Or buy the mini classic systems which can be modded to play more games than what comes packaged. I will say that I have always received great service at PNP. No matter the store, the staff has always been friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. They're not creating the prices and it's not their fault. Corporate needs to step back & look at the greed pricing. I can only imagine the inventory they'd move if their pricing was far more realistic and in line with current values, which would make retro gaming more accessible.

Focus on new products as your money better an trades/used as supplemental. Been wanting certain game systems which I ordered off Amazon once again for a much lesser price shipped to my home I saved $50 easy. Buyer be careful when purchasing used goods from here as you can find it cheaper else where. Pokemon crystal for gbc for example $20 At the pawn shop $80 At pnp. $40 spread is too much including my gas to get to the pawn shop. Just rethink your stores pnp old games are not worth more then new games. Those games already paid those programmers for their time. We should not be paying say $250 for an snes game you can almost buy a switch for that price. Or a ps4.

While visiting family in Winnipeg, my husband and I went on a used-bookstore tour of the city - we…read morestopped at 7 stores in total, and Bison Books was our favorite. Even from the street view, there are nice welcoming displays in the window, and as soon as you open the door, you are greeted with that wonderful familiar old-book smell (in the best way possible!). There is a carefully curated section for basically any genre you can think of (Icelandic books or antique sheet music, anyone?) organized meticulously, peppered with unique and interesting decor. The books we were looking at (general fiction/literature trade paperbacks) were priced between $7-10/book. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, rounding out the excellent experience. I can't say enough good things about Bison Books, Absolute Must for Winnipeg book lovers!

Our staff is welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly - happy to help you find a specific title, make a recommendation, have a philosophical discussion, or leave you to browse the stacks to see which of our 15,000 books will call your name. We try to run contrary to the stereotypical cranky bookseller! We pay cash for books, and try to make it easy for you to sell your books to us: you can bring them in at your convenience, or make an appointment with our buyer (here, or at your home). We always make our best offer, first, since it is important to us to be fair, honest, and forthright. We want to treat you fairly, so that you always bring your books to us, first.
