The selection at Nature's Fare Markets was mind-blowing…read more My husband was wise and grabbed a seat in their cafe area - since it was evident that I was waaaay too thrilled to be walking down every aisle in this healthy oasis. This place is not cheap - but they have put together an incredible assortment of organic/healthy grocery items. They have it all when it comes to keto, gluten-free, vegan, sugar-free items and much more. I picked up some vegan cheese, some paleo snacks, and a single serving of matcha. I was actually surprised at the restraint that I showed - especially with the array of mouth watering desserts beckoning me as - you enter (the vegan/gluten free carrot cake looked amazing). They also have some decent looking pre-made take-away options, as well as freshly made smoothies - if you're looking for a quick nourishing bite. Support local and get your grocery on. I guarantee that it will be hard to walk out of here empty-handed. Trust.

I was able to find my favourite coffee beans from 'the drive' here; Moja coffee. The prices are exorbitant, oat milk coffee creamer is $6.99, which is outrageous but I think overall food inflation is a global issue not just locally. It's a nice big store and I will post photos on my next visit.

On a recent visit to Langley, my kid and I were walking along one of the main drags in town (Mavis…read moreStreet), and my kid mentioned that she wishes I had made more of my famous apple-cranberry chutney last weekend for Thanksgiving. So I decided to make another batch, which required me to get some apples. We decided to stop in to this grocery store to get some. For the most part, I was quite impressed with this store. It's not terribly large; I'd estimate it's about 1/3 to 1/2 the size of your average Safeway store. But it was super clean, and well laid-out, and all the shelves were stocked, too. I did notice that this store was more of a gourmet food store. Definitely more like Bosa or Whole Foods than like No Frills when it comes to the brands they carry.. For sure. As a result, the prices tend to be higher than at No Frills - sometimes, by a LOT. They also have a lot more organic foods, and specialty foods, and a nice looking display and counter full of high-end meats and cheeses, and ready-made paninis, etc. During our brief visit here, I availed myself of the store's washroom for customers. (It's to the rear of the store, just behind the produce section). I was impressed by the cleanliness of the bathroom. (You'd be surprised how dirty some bathrooms are in grocery stores. They can be really shocking). This one was super clean, and well-stocked, too. Bonus. There were only a few check-out counters, but we were there at an off-time, so we didn't have a wait. The girl who checked us out was SO friendly and nice. Very personable. It left us with a really good feeling about this store, as our last impression before leaving.

Nice store. Friendly employees. However, because of the 'predatory' parking company, I will never…read moreshop here again. He was beyond rude.

I picked up the sweetest filet. Their single-smoked salmon is perfection. The "fish bar" is worth the drive out to this location. The salmon dip sells out every day! Bruce's is fishing family owned and operated for four generations. The grocery section yields locally blended herbs and spices at great prices. Fruits and veg are fresh and tasty. The bakery will cause drooling. And check the freezer section for Bruce's homemade ice cream. Sea Cider from Vancouver Island is always on the shelf. Rogers Chocolates! Now with the pet and farm store opened next door, you can pick up provisions for your furry family, and wonderful plants for your balcony or yard. Lots of parking. He got the roast beef on sourdough with everything but tomato. It was a pretty solid sandwich, but nothing I'd go out of my way for. I wanted the shrimp with avocado which they ended up being out of, so I opted for the smoked salmon instead. Okay, now this sandwich was definitely worth the hype. Smoked in-house, the fish tasted super fresh and there was a lot of it on my toasted sourdough. I paired it with fresh sprouts, iceberg lettuce, and tomato, making for one hell of a sandwich at $7.99 - I'll definitely be back for this, along with Bruce's other seafood offerings. So, why the three stars? Service here is SO excruciatingly slow. There were six deli attendants working, all of who despite acknowledging our presence, decided that prepping tomorrow's salads was infinitely more important than serving customers. I attempted to order, gave my boyfriend my order as I needed a bathroom break, browsed the store quickly and returned only to find they still hadn't taken our orders lol. They also didn't bother calling our names out once our sandwiches were ready (why ask even?) so our food was just sitting there for awhile. I get that Bruce's probably has a lot of seasonal hires, but the overall experience suffers if your customer service is this lacking.
