I had a chance to finally visit this location while in town to visit the Moms...San Clemente has been like a friendly aunt to me; supportive, nurturing and a source of many good times. It is only fitting, that after moving away from her some 35 years ago, that I continue to come back and take sustenance from what she still offers... I booked my appt. with Valentina a good week in advance on her Genbook software, easy-peasy. The day of the appt. arrived and I'm running late with mom, and I get a friendly call from Val confirming I'm on my way, yep, but it looks like I'm down to an hour now, so I'm a little bummed. We talk briefly and make several connections, so we get to the main attraction: the massage. Val has a nice, simple work area, and it's comfortable and warm. Valentina herself is very confident, without being smarmy and she is reading me pretty well. Nice flow, strong hands and intuitive DT work. It all just seemed to go too quickly, I guess, and I was left wanting more, but that will have to wait until our next encounter. The combination of our first meeting chatting and my time being cut just didn't fill the need I had today I guess, but I won't put that on Val. She drew out a Reiki symbol I know I'll use and was very professional throughout the whole session. I'll save the last star for our second session, which I know will be even better...Namaste! I went on to do some geocaching down at Max Berg Park, The Big O Tire, the old SC Jailyard and a dentist on Granada..3 good finds, and met some more great locals at the tattoo shops. Nice day. (Addendum 9/01/2014-I just hit 1,230 Finds today and I have 25 Hides under my belt.)-(Feb 16,2015 update:2,555 Finds/45 Hides and almost 200 Fave Points! Obsess much? read more

The Soul Intention - Peanut Buddha... - Massage Therapy Near Me

Just finished getting a wonderful massage from Valentina! I walked in extremely sore from a grueling past few weeks, all that tension vanished the moment i walked into the door! The studio has a very soothing feeling, from the sounds of the ocean being played, all the way to the barely visible blue fish. I feel much better now, best 60 minutes of my life! will for sure be going back! read more

I am always leery of new places and openly admit I'm overly critical when it comes to massage; however, Valentina was incredibly professional, the office and table were very well presented and clean, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the massage was top tier. She was informative about her techniques, she educated me on things I asked about, and after the session she gave me feedback on stress areas she noticed that might indicate causes of my tension. Valentina had to cancel my initial appointment due to illness but was very efficient, communicative, and helpful in rescheduling and offered free aromatherapy for the inconvenience. I was satisfied with the customer service, the professionalism, and the massage. read more

Words can not suffice to convey my appreciation and gratitude for Valentina and the Soul Intention! Little did I realize upon my first session almost a year ago that I would have stumbled upon such a blessing. Valentina's professionalism and dedication to not only the practice and art of massage therapy but her sincerity and commitment to making each person she sees a unique and personable experience-are second to none. I've been blessed to have traveled the globe extensively and never have I found someone as remarkable professionally, personally and spiritually. Valentina and the Soul Intention- the very best there is! read more

Valentina gave me an excellent massage. It was for 60 mins and was full body, including reflexology on my feet and hands. She is very nice and professional. She paid attention to what I marked as my tight and painful areas on my intake sheet. She seemed to focus on those areas the most which was awesome. She is very strong. Not in a way that hurts you, but in a way that you need from a massage therapist. Holding a head up with your fingertips while the person is on their back and giving pressure on the neck takes strength and dexterity. I loved the way her room was set up. It's a single room with a big divider. There's an intake/checkout area sort of as you enter and the table is behind the screen. She has a lot of crystals and stones for energy work and environment. You can tell she takes great care in their placement. Her handmade jewelry is there on a few tables for sale. Wish I would have seen the Yelp Checkin deal to include the essential oil with my massage, that would have been amazing. All in all, I am very happy with my experience as a new client of Valentina's. I would recommend her to anyone new to the area or someone that is need of some massage work. I hope to try out the other services Valentina offers outside of massage some day. read more

Oh man. When I moved to SoCal, I wistfully said farewell to a local massage place in my old town where the prices allowed me to go back more than once in a blue moon. I arrived here thinking this would be impossible to replicate in our expensive Golden State. Then, thankfully, I discovered Valentina at The Soul Intention. A calming person from the outset, Valentina will make you feel at home and in thoroughly capable hands. Her premises are clean, tidy, welcoming and set to lovely soothing music. She will talk with you about what you are hoping to get from your massage, be it general relaxation, focus on a particular problem area/muscle group, relief from a sports injury, or even spiritual renewal. Once you are on her table, Valentina has a remarkable ability to intuit the spots where your body will most benefit from massage. The pressure has been ideal every time, whatever my mood or level of sensitivity that day. She employs some reiki into her massage therapy, which I hadn't experienced before but which I think adds to her natural empathic ability and great talent as a masseuse. Take advantage of one of the frequent amazing deals for new and/or returning clients to start, and return again and again for a wonderfully soothing experience. read more

The Soul Intention was recommended to me and I tentatively went for a one hour massage. Because I have Dystonia as well as other health issues I was concerned about trying yet another massage therapist! From the moment I walked in the door I felt a peace I can't explain... Tina has the ability to listen to what you have to say without rushing you, she calmly explains what she feels or senses in your body. Truly a wonderful experience! I was welcomed to talk and share my stressors or enjoy the peace and quiet! She truly gave me the feeling that it was my time and she was there to help me on my journey. I left feeling calm, relaxed, and much less sore! Im looking forward to my next appointment! The office was in the back of the building and you enter from the rear parking lot. It was very clean and comfortable. A very professional operation run by a lovely, spiritual, and experienced therapist! read more

Despite being the last client of the day my massage was awesome. 60 minutes and I felt great and the tightness in my back was gone. The studio has plenty of parking and valentina is sweet and genuine. I'd give her 6 stars if I could. read more

I was very pleased with the massage I received. Valentina was professional and has created a very nice soothing space. Although someone knocked on the outside door she ignored it and didn't interrupt the massage. Perhaps a note that says "Please do not knock. Massage in progress." would be a good idea with a pencil and paper for someone to leave a note. I would whole heartedly recommend this establishment for a massage and will return when I am in the area again. If I lived in the area I would definitely be a regular patron. read more

I've had about 7 massages here throughout the last year and I have to say, I have been continually impressed with the quality of care I'm receiving. Valentina goes out of her way to make me feel welcome and appreciated. She remembers details about my life and is caring enough to ask about them even if it's been a month since I last saw her. I have recommended numerous friends and family members to her and they have all left satisfied. read more
