Hey Susan, just back from ten days in Central Mexico. All good. My arm/shoulder has been great, very strong. I did have a bit of a difficult time installing new lights, about a 10 hour job and very difficult at the top of a 10 foot ladder, but no injuries or falls. It took me 4 days and it was hot and humid but all good. Very proud of myself. I would like to see you this week but "iffy" with my work schedule because we are off to ski (much thanks to you) on Friday so if I can't get in for a tune up before I will see you when I get back. I started seeing Dr. Jeffries in the fall of 2022. I was referred by a friend, as I was having foot pain from arthritis, general aches and pains from getting in shape, and an overall desire to feel more relaxed and calm. I still, to this day, do not understand exactly how it all works, but in the 15 months since I started seeing her, my foot pain has decreased dramatically to almost nothing, I have no measurable aches and pains and most importantly I feel much more relaxed and calm after every session. I went to see Susan for fibromyalgia pain throughout my body that came on suddenly. Also had heightened cold sensitivity to the point of feeling pain in my body when it was only 60° outside and also a feeling of needles poking throughout my body. I also had an overall feeling of anxiety. I went in asking for her to do some acupuncture to help calm my nerves to see if that could help my pain. I was diagnosed with a compressed disc at L4/5 S1 and had battled horrible shooting back and leg pain for two years. Physical therapy taught me how to manage it but it was still there. I feel like I know exactly what is going on and how it affects my body when I get supplements or acupuncture, which is really interesting to me to know what is affecting what in my body.
