I've been going to Neurowaves for several years and Jeff, Dolly, and George have helped me so much. I was so depressed and scared because I was allergic to so many foods (and other things) that I was sure that my family would find me unconscious one day due to an anaphylaxis reaction. i took my son to Neurowaves after trying EVERYTHING to solve his eczema problem he had suffered from since he was a few months old. I had tried creams, prescriptions, coconut oil, nothing seemed to make a difference at all until I made changes to his diet. Since birth I struggled with being lactose intolerant. Any time I would have a small amount of milk my feet would feel like they were on fire and my throat would instantly close up. I have been going to Nuerowaves off and on for 5 years. I started the treatment to relieve my allergies and have great success. When I went to a traditional Allergist to be tested (back when they wrote on and pricked your back), I reacted with histomine hives to the pen. It was very unpleasant to say the least. A friend recommended me to go to Neurowaves and I am so glad I did. Last month, Feb. 2013, I had an appointment but was in a full blown allergy attack complete with dripping sinus, raw throat, no voice and fever. I was going to cancel my appointment with Nuerowaves and go to my primary MD but opted to continue with the treatment. I was treated for weeds. Ten minutes into my drive home (a 45 minute drive) my ears popped, then my sinuses popped and cleared out. My allergies were causing bad irritation on my face - very noticeable red blotches and raised, itchy skin. It made going out in public difficult. My son and I have had more than positive results with NAET (which reprograms your system not to react to an allergen) and Dr. Weinand at Neurowaves who was recommended by a friend about seven years ago. I was open minded to give NAET a try after being told by a reputable allergist that I was allergic to dust, dust mites, trees, pollen and lots of other environmental allergens and that I should avoid them by closing all windows, running the AC, vacuuming and changing sheets 2x per week, Hepa filters, etc. I had a newborn, so that wasn't happening. I did not grow up with allergies, but in my late 30's I had developed allergy induced asthma and would wake up several times a night with asthma, unable to get a full breath of air. Since my NAET treatment for dust/dust mites/trees/pollen/seasonal allergies I have been able to sleep through the night and have not been awoken by asthma since. Another great example - prior to NAET I had experienced my allergies getting progressively worse, and I have since learned that I would confuse my allergy symptoms with cold symptoms. I discovered this while visiting my in laws cottage in the NE mountains because with each visit I'd always feel sick shortly after arrival, thinking I caught something on the plane and the symptoms were worse with each visit. One year they insisted I go to the dr, and to my surprise the dr told me I had allergies and asthma and prescribed an inhaler and allergy meds. Since NAET can also work with samples of allergens you bring in, prior to our next NE trip I had my inlaws send me samples of dirt, vacuum cleaner bag dust, leaves, bark, etc and took the samples to Dr Weinand and since then I have been able to go to my inlaws without reacting to the environment. Even my inlaws have been amazed! Even more amazing is that since I was 12 years old I have had eczema in my ears, no western dr could do more than control the symptoms and the general consensus was that it is a lifelong condition that can be controlled, but not eliminated. Dr W said from the start that it was allergy related. There were times when I doubted Dr W because it took years of on and off treatments of various allergies to get to the bottom of it, but as of 5 months ago the eczema is gone, maybe sometimes I feel a little itch or tingle (and I assume it's because of some allergy because I do know that my ears would itch and tingle when I was exposed to allergens which would cause the eczema to flair up - it does not flair up anymore), but it is not visible to the eye whereas before my ears would be dry and flakey most of the time and bleed at least monthly. I also got welts on my arms from our new puppy, as well as a tight chest and itchy, watery eyes... I brought in fur and saliva samples and a few other dog related samples and was treated by Dr W and am now 100% fine around the dog unless I touch him and rub my eyes, then my eyes will itch. Quality of life is 200% better without allergies - asthma and eczema are gone and I do not feel like I am coming down with a cold six months out of the year because of allergies. It's been amazing, really! As for my son, from about 2-5 yrs of age he would clear his throat non-stop every 5-20 minutes to the point where I didn't notice it anymore - friends would ask what was wrong with him. At age 5 he had strep several times and his throat was really swollen to the point where 3 dr's at Sears Pediatrics, and two highly recommended ENT offices said he needed a tonsillectomy, the ENT's said there was no choice. I asked for the summer to see if it was allergy related since I had just discovered my own allergies and had success with NAET. They shook their head, but agreed. My son's first NAET treatment was for dust and dust mites and literally within an hour he stopped clearing the phlegm from his throat! It was truly amazing! In the fall we went back to Sears Pediatrics and they were more than surprised, and the problem never recurred. I wrote this review because I think it's worth giving Dr W a try (go to him though, he is one of a few in CA with this special table that locks the allergy out right away vs. having to avoid exposure to the allergen 26 hours after treatment before it sets in - thus explaining some of the mixed reviews you may find online when researching NAET), if nothing else, you can always go back to western medicine. It worked for us and we've been extremely happy with the results! What do you have to lose? PS. I should mention that prior to NAET I was allergic to everything - my eyes were always puffy (not anymore). Allergies included laundry detergent (had to use Dreft), soaps, perfumes, seasonal changes, grass, flowers, trees, lots of food.. it never stopped! I can use any laundry detergent, soap, etc, now and eat anything, but I was diligent in going to Dr W each time I noticed. I now smile when allergy counts are high in the air because I am no longer bothered by the seasonal changes! read more

I absolutely do NOT recommend this treatment. I spent a LOT of money on NAET treatment for allergies and is simply made them worse! While I was already gluten free, I thought I would receive the treatment to allow me to eat gluten again. It appeared to work for a short time, however, when I found it wasn't working I went back to re-test/re-treat and was told it was fine and was working....this was not the case. They offer a guarantee, but I have yet to be able to claim on the guarantee. I spent hundreds of dollars on the treatments, then double that on medical services finding that in fact the treatment had caused more problems....ER, GI doctors, the works....before I went I was in good health, a year later I am still rebuilding my digestive system. When my baby was 2 months old she was exhibiting the same allergy signs that my older daughter had endured at that age - terrible stomach cramping after every feeding that made her scream and kick her little baby legs in pain, baby acne on her face, terrible diaper rash, constantly goupy eye, and a ridiculous amount of spitting up. I had eliminated different foods from my diet and couldn't figure it out. We took her to Dr. Weinand upon the recommendation of a friend, although we were very skeptical of naturopathic medicine. He was able eliminate her allergy to breast milk the first week, which helped with the cramping. The next week he eliminated an allergy to phenolics (building block of all plants), which solved the other issues. I am so thankful for their practice! They were also very sweet about the fact that I had to bring my 18 month old with me and helped me juggle 2 babies at once. read more

minus 5 stars. While being tested for allergies they cleared me for hepetis E and mononucleous. A very short time after that, I came down with Shingles and this was 2 weeks after the allergy elimation. I was seriously ill for over three months. To top this off they have Poor customer service, extemely poor accounting practices. Terrible customer repore. I have spent over a thousand dollar on treatments that are Not 100% effective at all.. Buyer beware!!!!!! and only to be treated terribly and talked down to. If a complaint is made, they handle it by reversing the situtation and somehow making it sound like its your fault. They are snooty, unapologetic and only want your money . Office stafff and doctors have a belligerent attitude When an NAET treatment does not work , the standard answer the doctor gives is you should get decapitated at the neck...Thanks for Nothing! I want to let anyone who is considering NAET, know that George Weinand gave me a life I never knew. I started life protruding formula clear across the room the moment my mom brought me home from the hospital after being born. When my mom questioned the doctor, she was told, as long as I am gaining weight keep giving it to me. That was the beginning of a life of sickness, ear infections and asthma. At age 9 I almost died from bronchial pneumonia. Each single breath was such a chore to take, I wanted to give up. Bronchitis was a familiar friend that visited every year. The longest lasting 3 months. It wasn't until I was in high school that a chiropractor my parents were seeing for treatment suggested they take me off of milk, dairy products, and chocolate, surmising I had allergies when they mentioned of my troubles. Sure enough I was better. Better, but not allergy free. Many years later while in my 30's, tired from sneezing and a stuffy head, and the effects of allergy pills, my mom went in search of something different for me. She found a doctor who performed the usual skin testing on me but after almost killing me from a shot upon sending me home, I never went back. I was not told beforehand what the shot was, later to find it was Benedryl, a drug I cannot take, let alone drive on! My mom resumed her quest for help and found an allergy doctor in one of her allergy books who was close by. I called him to find he was since retired. After telling him of my demise, he said if I wanted a different approach to allergies, then to call George Weinand, and so I did. I began NAET treatments to cure my allergies, yes cure. Through muscle testing, I found that I was basically allergic to everything I ate, drank and breathed it seamed. I felt like I could have been the "girl in the bubble", from the movie "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble", in which he lived in from a suppressed immune system. It all made sense now, why I suffered like I did. Through no drugs, no shots and several treatments later I now live in a world I never knew existed. No more waking up to a mound of filled tissues and days of being in a daze from either a head filled with snot or the effects of allergy drugs. This treatment has greatly influenced my life. I am now on the other side of the allergy sufferers. I am now saddened by them, knowing very well what it feels like, and knowing that telling them of a cure will probably be turned down by the brainwashing of doctors giving pharmaceutical band-aids. Modern medical doctors I have come across have put the treatment down because it is not in their medical books or journals, therefore it has to be witchcraft or a form of mind control. Well, there is more than one way to skin a cat, as the saying goes, and I know from experience that NAET works, and everyone who knew me before and sees me now, knows it works, much to their amazement. Why this technique is not more prevalent is beyond me. I would pay triple the amount in a heart beat to experience the normalcy I always wish I had.
