This is a lovely pub/restaurant the interior is a quaint modern country pub style and the inside is split into a classic pub and restaurant. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and kind and the food was awesome. The staff were very friendly, however drinks prices reflected the pubs location in a very touristy area outside of Reading in close proximity to Silchester and its Roman ruins. The place is now owned by Czechs which was also reflected in the food menu. The food menu was very small with a mixture of English and Czech dishes and a little overpriced for what you actually got on your plate. However the food that was there was delicious.
