Tables are well spaced apart and they follow proper Covid protocols. Our wait was very friendly and took very good care of us. Although they've been open for five months, there were a few logistical cliches. Our starter and most of the mains came together and the rice came toward the end of the meal, but I'm overlooking those items as I'm sure they are trying to keep staff to a minimum these days. We had the chicken wings, aloo gobi, fish tikka masala, saffron rice and two orders of butter naan (so good!). They're not licensed so with two cokes this was $30/per person including tip and plenty of left overs. Definitely will be back.

I figured I couldn't go wrong with a dish that combined my fave dishes from two cuisines: pasta and butter chicken, and I was not disappointed! I have ordered the Dinner for Two twice now, and both times were absolutely amazing! Each dish just drips with authentic flavour and is clearly made with pride and love. The portions are hearty, the presentation is inviting, and the quality is first-rate. From the soft, buttery Naan to the fragrant Dal Tadka - the flavours are deep, hearty, and unforgettable. Not to mention the Butter Chicken - rich, creamy, and just the right amount of spice. Pure comfort food heaven. Ordering from their website was a breeze, and both times the meals showed up piping hot, incredibly fresh, and packed with care--you can taste the pride and passion in every single bite. Whether you're new to Indian food, or a die-hard fan of strongly flavoured food, Flavors of India is a must. It is a cozy, welcoming escape that I will return to - often - and cannot recommend enough!

Let me tell you, this was the most favourite and talked about dish during and after. And believe me this was enough to serve 4 people a good portion, trying the three dipping sauces give it an excellent flavour, but try it by itself first! Also, ask for a knife, J know were are post COVID, this is one of those dishes that you tear off, though my wife cut her piece with a spoon, we got a knife after that. The food came quickly, and our additions and requests were handled quickly and efficiently by the staff. Now to look at it all the curries have the same sort of look you them, I assure you, each and everyone had a delicious and different flavour. Dining in Canada for over 20 years now, I have found that restaurants have reduced the heat on dishes, this is not so at The Rock Fort (IMHO). I did not order the Mango Lassi, but was told it was delicious. The Lamb was the spicy dish, the other couple are Asian, and they were enjoying the spice level of the lamb dish. The meats were tender, moist and delicious, the Naan was so good two more were ordered to help sop up the tasty sauces. The restaurant has tables and booths , both were clean and no issues were found. You can have a view of the kitchen to watch the chefs cook (glass partitioned). We look forward to revisiting this restaurant to try different Dosas and I really want to try their Kabobs. Try this if you have not been there, it is worth it!

The Momos where good, but the sauce was next-level. So good, I asked the owner if I could buy a jar of it the next visit. That gave him a chuckle, but he agreed and spent a minute on the peppercorns in the sauce that made it special. Nice man. The Lamb Biriyani and Chili Chicken were wonderful, mildly spiced for a mid-day meal. I will ask for it a little hotter when we return for dinner next time. The stuffed Naan, called 'kulcha' was almost a meal in itself. Ours was onion-filled and was delicious and unexpected. Yum surprise. The bill was $50 and it was way more food than we could eat, so we have a doggie-bag for tonight. Great value. Delicious food (that I can't replicate), Friendly place. We'll be back. Update: We took our Vegan kids to dinner there, and had only vegan dishes. They were so impressed, and so were we. There was so much flavor, we didn't miss the meat at at all. The dining area is clean and the service is great. Ambiance is okay, as it feels a bit more like a cafeteria setting more than a restaurant. Would definitely come back for to order their lunch special again or maybe try the rest of their menu when we're around that area.
