Today four of us went for lunch in this lovely little restaurant in the Westhills area. The service by a very nice waitress was attentive and very welcoming. The food was exceptional. I had the Chicken Koobideh, which was flavourful and delicious. Two had the Chicken Yoghurt which they said was moist and delicious. One had the Lamb Longmeh which again was delicious. I had very little knowledge of Iranian food before this, but I'm glad to say it was a wonderful experience and will definitely go again. read more

It's officially my most favourite Iranian restaurant in Alberta. I loved the atmosphere. The place is decorated very nice. The quality of the food was very good and I loved the level of customer service. I tried a couple of things and they were all very good. My main was "Koobideh &Joojeh" and we tried a couple of appetizers too which were all very good. I also tried a piece of "Barg" which was pretty good and juicy! Parking wasn't an issue and it took about 15-20 minutes to get there from downtown although it was a Sunday evening and I'm not sure how the traffic is during the week. Overall I had a very good experience and I hope I can go back there soon. I definitely recommend this place read more

My family lives in the area and we decided to try Termeh for the first time. Overall it was a great experience and the food was tasty and the flavors were unique and nothing I've ever had before. We ordered the Appetizer platter to share, I had the Fesenjan dish for my main course and black tea. The portions were large and we had plenty of leftover rice to bring home. My dish was complex and was both sweet and tart. All the components came together and I was happy with what I ordered. I had a taste of the Kabob as well and they were well cooked. THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE: I have so far visited following countries and cities and have foods in all places but the worst food I have was in Termeh Restaurant downtown on my birthday December 16, 2022 that ruined my birthday happiness. Order from here all the time. I love the koobideh and my husband loves the gormeh sabzi. The chicken kabob are also good. This is the best Persian restaurant in Calgary. They have a limited menu because of COVID, but all the food it delicious. We live on the other side of town but my husband will drive all the way there just to get some good Persian food. read more

Came here for the first time to celebrate my birthday and try out Persian food . Also to support local business in the community . We started out with the Persian black tea which came with a rock sugar stick . Very nice flavor and enjoyed this very much . I ordered the Lamb Shank dinner and chose to have half rice and half salad instead of just rice . The salad was large and lots of rice came with the dish . The lamb shank was delicious & very tender . The meat near fell off the bone ! Husband chose the lamb skewer meal and half salad & rice as well . He enjoyed the tabbouleh salad and I had the garden salad . The food was very delicious . For dessert we shared the homemade ice cream and cake . The waiter was very attentive and explained about the various foods . We had a great evening out and enjoyed this new choice of Persian food . The staff are friendly and cordial. They serve Persian food and their dishes are decent. However, they should change their copper plates and bowls. The copper servingware look charming but practically all of them were untreated and rusty because they serve acidic food like tomatoes and vinaigrette in them. I think eating in untreated copper dishes is not recommended as untreated copper is poisonous. They MUST change their dishes asap. read more

Kobideh was bland and I have had better at Saman. Ambience was nice. The Persian tea was weird, came in a fancy cup with a even fancier tea strainer that was difficult to remove without burning your fingertips. read more

PSA: the portion ratios do NOT make sense - they were serve you an entire bowl of hummus with 4 slices of pita. The kabob platters almost looked like a joke considering how much rice they serve next to 1 tiny kabob. My partner ordered the beef kabob with rice and the skewer was so small, and there was probably 4-5 cups of rice on the plate. I ordered the wrap, but they grilled the wrap with the wrapper on it, so the wrapper had burnt/melted into the pita wrap and you could not take the wrapper off....I ate paper :( The service was also so poor, we started to beleive you had to go up to the till to order because we didn't have a server until after 20 minutes of being seated. The server did not write down the order, and because of that, half our order was messed up or not even brought out to us. Nice and clean atmosphere. The kabob koobedeh was way to salty. Asked them to change at least one of the skewer, the second one was exactly the same. Practically we paid $42 and I came out hungry. They gave me $ 1.5 discount which was insulting. The waiter suggested if I would like half rice and half salad and she charged extra for the salad. So I missed half of the rice for nothing.
