The vibe is very relaxed and friendly. The first time I went the Office was staffed by Courtney. She was great!. Greeted me when I came in, very attentive, mixed a great drink, and took care of everything. Second time him she remembered by name, what I wanted, and made be feel like an old friend who had come home. I noticed how she was always working... taking care of customers, cleaning as she goes along, filling the humidifier in the humidor, and in general just staying busy and getting things done. I also noticed one day she saw a regular customer drive up and park, and before he could get in door she had a glass of water for him on the table next to his regular chair. Basically, now the deciding factor if I will stop by on my drive home from work is if I know Court is working. I am a pipe smoker rather than a cigar smoker so I cannot speak to the quality and selection of cigars that they have, but the cigar smoking patrons seem to never have trouble finding something from the humidor to enjoy. Both the staff and patrons have always been cool with me bringing my own and pipe smoking and on numerous occasions come over to comment on the room note and ask what I was smoking. When I made the reservation I initially chose inside dining but after arriving we decided to take advantage of their offer to sit outside to take advantage of their lovely patio by the pool and the very pleasant outdoor temperature that evening after a nice rain. We were seated near the door where the pianist was playing nice music inside that allowed us to enjoy it. Giorgio's HRW 3 course dinner this year was $39 and I ordered the Burrata Panzanella Salad as my first course followed by Cavatelli Bolognese for the second finishing with the Flourless Chocolate Cake for the third. While waiting we were brought some bread along with trays of peanuts, potato chips and popcorn which was a little unusual but no one complained about free food. I must say that all of my 3 courses were excellent tasting. The Burrata salad had a large serving of the above named cheese with fresh tomatoes, olives and ciabatta bread that was cool in temperature and I could have eaten another serving because it was so good. The pasta bolognese was equally delicious except warm in temperature with the Akaushi beef making a delicious bolognese sauce over the cavatelli. Finally the cake was fresh and full of chocolate flavor with berries and Nutella alongside a scoop of rich vanilla ice cream. This was a perfect finish for what was a fine meal. The outdoor setting was also perfect and one that I wouldn't hesitate to repeat. So why do I only give 4 stars? For some reason not understood by anyone in our party was the fact that this entire experience took us 3 hours from being seated to paying the checks for our 3 course dinners. They didn't appear to be too busy that night so I'm not sure why it took so long. Our group did enjoy our time together and filled it with good conversation but still this dinner should have taken at least 1 hour less. This is my review...Most cigar lounges I've been close later than 9pm. I'm use to 12am or 2am. I'm used to the live music on the weekends. I'm also use to having drinks, which that was a Members Only thing, I didn't know that til now. So the regular lounge is free to smoke only. But with the membership, you have two options. 125.00, or 225.00 yearly. Which the lower amount doesn't give you access to a personal locker there to store your items. That's the only difference in prices. Both will give you discounts on shopping on items and access to a V.I.P. lounge with members only. Also members only get certain preferred drinks there that's already in stock. Different right...At least from my not use to way. But the breakdown was very thorough from the owner and I understand the crowd/customers who they try to attract based on the location of business, and who they want in their establishment. Don't get me wrong, nice laid out lounge with TV's. I was even watching the Astros vs the Rangers that night. But I'm use to getting more access without a membership and a live atomsphere, larger crowd, food maybe or food truck outside, maybe hookahs, drinks and live music. I would do this place again, if not to drive far for a smoke and get here early before they close at 9, and be in bed at 10, lol.
