This place was so extra helpful to me and my wife. My wife struggled with so many Rental boots that it ruined our weekend because she could not ski. One trip to skiers edge and Bryan hooked her up with some boots that finally fit right. They are amazing, and so helpful. I can't say enough about this place! If I could give 10 stars, I would! Thank you Bryan once again. And boss man, if you read this, he needs a raise! ;)

It's been a couple of years since I posted review about Skier's Edge. It's good to see them so busy. Same great service as always. What's new (to me) is that they are now custom fitting boots. Kaya's knowledge of both skiing and snowboarding is always incredibly helpful. She steered to us to a set of Ski boots for my wife. Matt did a complete custom fitting job on her boots. Thank You, because she loves them.

Great memories with the kids building confidence and bragging about being better at skiing than mom. I'm smiling through my fright.

Loyalty rewards for consecutive rentals is incredible. Friendly, knowledgeable, and quick service. Been using them for the past 5 years and the drive thru drop off makes it great for the kids to stay in the car and do the returns in record time!

When faced with a ski trip to Sunrise and no ski equipment, we went with Skiers Edge for the rental route. I called the day before to reserve the equipment. At first they said that they would only do rental reservations the day of, but they would make an exception for me. The next day, we stopped by the shop to pick up the equipment on the way to the mountain. As we walked in, the shop wasn't extremely crowded which worried us for the amount of snow we would hit when we got to Sunrise but that's a different story. The staff was friendly and attentive and got to us right away. While filling out the paperwork, I looked around and noticed a decent selection of ski equipment and clothing at a competitive price. So, in case you forget something while on the way to go skiing, this is a good option for a last minute stop. The staffer fit me for the skis quickly and efficiently. I was impressed with the quality of snow boots and skis they gave me. We only rented the skis for the day but you can rent them daily or multiple days. The skis, boots and poles worked great during my ski day. After a long day of the slopes, we headed back down the mountain. I was pleasantly surprised with how quick the rental drop-off was when we got back to Skiers Edge. You just pull around back, drop off your skis and then you're on your way. So, I might have gotten lucky that day, but based on my experience with Skiers Edge rentals, they provide quick service for a great price and excellent gear. You can't beat that!

Tried other rentals in Pinetop-Lakeside. This is the best. Check for Groupon to save, also save receipts for free rental.

Today the owner and his nephew went above and beyond for me in several ways. I just got a brand new board and took it in to get a stomp pad and to rent some boots. Boomer the owner (idk his real name) let me know that my bindings were on regular, and I'm goody, so he fixed what another shop in the valley got wrong (like I said, brand new board ). We had a great chat about all the things and I left feeling stoked. While chatting with the young man at the rental return (Brody), I told him I was feeling kind of odd after getting smacked with the chairlift pretty bad. The sweet guy actually drove me to urgent care so I didn't have to drive in that condition. And to top all of this generosity off, the owner called me to make sure I got home safely and was doing ok. Seriously, you can't beat the friendly, family like vibe of this shop and the people who work there. They're also the best stocked in town and have great prices. If it's busy as heck when you go in, be patient, say thank you, and share good vibes only

The staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. They showed my kids how to clip into their skis and taught them a few helpful tips. The place is clean, organized, well run and affordable. The…read morechairlift ride alone was worth the visit, offering breathtaking views of the mountains and giving us a unique perspective of the surrounding forest. To our surprise, we even spotted a bear roaming the property from above--a memorable experience we'll never forget! The weather was absolutely perfect, making for an incredible day on the mountain. The staff throughout the resort were warm, welcoming, and helpful, and the bike shop had everything we needed, including locally made Arizona sunscreen, which was a great touch. My husband and I rented downhill bikes from the resort, and while we appreciated the convenience and quality of the rentals, they could have had a more thorough pre-ride inspection. The tire pressure on both bikes was significantly lower than it should have been for the trails. Thankfully, my husband and son had the tools and give the bikes a quick safety check before we headed out. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we're grateful we checked Sunrise Park Resort off our mountain biking bucket list. We spent an amazing day riding in the dirt, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and making great family memories.

I picked up most of my skills here at Sunrise in those early days. It is also the place that I first learned how to snowboard. Lately, I have been skiing in resorts outside of Arizona and haven't been making my way over here as much. I had never tried night skiing and recently made a drive up here one weekend. I ended up staying over in Pinetop. Sunrise Park Resort allows you to ski or board from 4:30 to 8pm on certain evenings. It is a separate ticket price and you can add it on to your day pass if you want to do a full day. I really enjoyed skiing under the stars. The only bummer is that they only have a few runs open for it. Sunrise Park Resort is located near Greer, AZ. It is owned and operated by the White Mountain Apache Tribe. Sunrise has 67 trails across three mountains. They rent out ski gear, offer lessons and even have skibobbing. Sunrise is usually only open for about four to five months during the winter season. There are a number of places to eat at if you want to grab a bite while here. Sunrise Park Resort has mountain biking and other activities during the summer months. The parking lot isn't the greatest on snowy days, but is spacious. The closest towns with hotels to stay in are Show Low, Pinetop, Greer, Eagar, and Springerville. There are some companies in the Phoenix area that offer travel deals for transportation and lodging.
