Their high energy is contagious, music choices well delivered and entertaining, and their senses of humor will most likely have you grinning throughout the show. Aweosme! Awesome! Awesome! We are looking for an opportunity to see them again! A Cappella is 1 of my favorite forms of sound/music. It's such an awesome talent. their Camaro's that they showcase out front during each of their shows. Great fun for everyone! I think my family was hesitant going in but afterwards didn't want to leave & we're ready for more. Their sound effects during movies reminds me of my brother & his friends doing the same thing when we were younger. I gave this a 4 star, but just barely. It started off a bit rough. I was one of the younger audience members and I felt the music was a bit inappropriate. The flashy Six with a couple of spike hair-do's didn't enhance their appeal to the elderly audience. I watched several of the very elderly leave in disgust. Had the music not started to change just before intermission, I might have opted out too. But I didn't and the music got much better and mellower in the second half. Not that you could fall asleep, but it was more music that I like. And I like a very eclectic music selection, but Queen, etc. is not on my list unless it is played extremely well, and then only when I am in the mood. So, wait for the second half if the music seems a little focused for millennials instead of baby-boomers. A significant point should be made. Hughes Theater has an incredible sound system; perhaps the best we have seen over the last six years and 75+ shows in Branson and elsewhere. But it definitely sounds best with musician's earplugs pressed in your ears firmly. I used a 15db sound reduction earplug to get just the right volume level. Even the sound manager acknowledged that some good earplugs were a good idea. This is not a problem unique to this theater though. Most sound mixers go to a really high volume to mask loud talking guests and to overpower audio thieves with recorders. So check online for musician's earplugs for the best audio experience (I also use them at most movie theaters these days) This would not be one of my recommendations as must-sees to friends, but to fill out a day and be entertained; it is pretty good. read more

I will say that they did 2 good snippets of Coldplay songs and about 15 seconds of an acceptable Rapper's Delight. The rest of the show, however, was a total dumpster fire. All over the place genres, pitchy out of sync singing, too much distortion on the mics, a ridiculously pandering to 'Merica song, and then an out of nowhere Jesus-y ending. And I'm not sure how they can actually call that choreography. I've seen a better show a my local bar on karaoke night. Update on 4/13: My husband posted an accurately horrible review of the "show" we saw on Monday night. Then, friends of SIX and other members of the Knudsen family, decided to comment back on his review. Going so far as to go on my husband's personal Facebook page, pull his photos, and attempt to publicly berate his appearance. SIX, let me tell you something, your show is garbage, no energy, off key and out of sync singing. At least twice, you completely forgot lyrics. And the worst part? Your bravado and holier than though attitudes. Don't go see this show. I honestly don't know how you have so many positive reviews. Perhaps, they're all written by equally tone-deaf friends of yours. read more

Great show but I highly recommend not choosing rows 1-5 on the right or left side of the stage. The music is so loud due to speaker proximity to these rows. I was assigned left - row 2 - seats 3&4 and ended up moving back to approximately the 10th row. I was not the only attendee to move. Show attendees on both sides (rows 1-4) moved from assigned seats. Although you might get closer seats rows 1-5 sitting on right or left side, the speakers located at the corner of the stage make the experience terrible. I am 40 and have been to several rock/alternative concerts and my original assigned seats was too close to the speakers and was too loud for enjoyment. read more

I love Branson and the shows, but SIX is not one I recommend. I saw the show for the first time in 2016 and thought the music was good and comedic attempts were painful. This year I just saw it last night and the music was worse and the comedic attempts even worse. I really wish they would stick to singing and doing what they do best. Skip the comedy and the kooky choreography because six middle ages white guys cannot dance and only adds distraction. There were some good songs and well sung, when they were not trying to do other things at the same time. So this is more constructive feedback. If you do go and want to leave during the intermission, try and stick it out as the second part is better than the first and does have more straight forward singing which is really want you want to see anyway. Overall if in doubt, go check out some other favorites and save your money and time. read more

I truly love this show. Every time I'm in Branson, it's a mandatory must see show. I can't put my finger on what it is. Is it the vocals, is it the comedy, is it the music choices I just don't know. I think the best way to say it is it's just wholesome and clean. I find it hard to believe you would ever find someone who finds this show in anyway offensive. It's just good clean fun. As I write this I try to think of something to take away at least one star and I can't. I highly recommend the show to anyone read more

The volume and over amplification of the bass ruined the fine voices they have. The volume was so loud, my wife put in ear plugs and I had to turn off my hearing aids. We left at intermission due to the volume. read more

So I just returned back to the hotel after seeing SIX for my first time and WOW what an amazing night! These 6 brothers, hence the name SIX, really put on a great show! All in perfect harmony singing popular songs from the 50's through today. Plus they dance, ham it up and include the audience in several songs. I was in awe to see so many of their repeat fans at the show in full SIX t-shirt and hat regalia, but now I understand. These guys entertain you from start to finish! There were kids, adults, seniors and adults that acted like kids in the audience tonight and everybody looked like they were having a blast. I even sang along and danced a little which I never usually do in public. SIX is a MUST see show in Branson! I'll definitely come back again! read more

Awesome show! I took my mother to see this show while staying overnight in Branson while on a road trip from California to New Hampshire. The show was highly suggested by our hotel attendant and I'm extremely pleased we decided on SIX vice another show. At first, the opening song "Life is a highway" threw me off and I was expecting the worse and thinking I was in for a long night of 1980/1990's 'one hit wonders' However, as the musical act progressed, I started enjoying it more, especially the comedy and satire throughout the night. I even teared up when SIX sang "Proud to be an American" in honor of our Veterans;) In all, my mother had a blast and I was happy to see that smile lit across her face from ear to ear. I enjoyed the show as well and this will be a lasting memory for a lifetime. Thank you SIX!!! read more

We have been to Branson 5 times and never left a show at intermission until seeing Six on September 23, 2021. My husband sings in quartets at church and other groups and was looking forward to the harmony. Well what harmony might have been was unable to be heard because of the super loud percussion. Jokes were pathetic, but we didn't go for that. We went for the music. On our return several friends were surprised at our disappointment and one loaned us a cd of Six ( Nu Wop) which was fantastic! So don't know if the sound was off or they are trying to change their performance for a different effect, but whatever the situation, it sure was disappointing for us and we would not recommend the current show to anyone. read more

Was extremely disappointed in all the "non-family" comments throughout the show. It was bad enough for us to take our kids and leave the before intermission. It was advertised as a Christmas show, which is why we went. When we talked to management about the false advertisement, they could care less. I have been a music teacher for thirty-eight years. We attended our first SIX concert in Branson last weekend and LOVED it. We did not go for perfection or dirty jokes, but to just be entertained and feel good when we left. The tribute to Veterans was very emotional. The religious tones were greatly appreciated and welcomed. I am the age of the older brothers and so i thought the "cheesy" comedy was refreshing and cute. We will definitely pay to see this group the next time we are in Branson. The place was packed and if they were as bad as a few of the reviews stated, I doubt that they would be packing out the house!!! I know most reviews of this show provide a five star rating but I am being honest. It's a great show but l prefer a live band with vocals. The accapella gets mundane after one hour. It might have been best to break up their show with another act or performance. The best part of the show was the sounds the guys created during the series of movie clips. This was my first time seeing SIX. I had seen advertisements about it everywhere (billboards, brochures, etc) on the way to Branson, and so I did not know what to expect. We arrived early (about 45 minutes early) to make sure we could secure a good parking spot. Walking in, there were already a lot of people in the foyer, sitting on the couches, buying from concessions, or browsing through the gift shop. The restrooms were nicely kept and clean. As the time for the show to start drew nearer, we decided to enter the theatre where ushers were present and ready to help us find our seats. The inside of the theatre was very spacious, large and magnificent. It is also handicap friendly. The announcer made sure to remind the audience that no video recording is allowed (due to copyrights). Then, the show began. IMMEDIATELY, from the very first act, I knew this show was going to be amazing! It consists of 6 brothers who sing acapella and make all these special sound effects with their mouths, ranging from beat boxing all the way to movie sound effects. You can tell they put a lot of quality time and effort into their sound equipment and acoustics, as everything sounded amazing in the theatre. The show was also very funny, and they were very good at interacting with the audience. There were opportunities for audience members to go on stage themselves and become part of the show. All the comedy was in good taste and everyone in the audience seemed to have a great time (especially the first few rows in the middle). There was a brief intermission where you had the opportunity to browse the gift shop, pre-order the live taping of that night's show, or grab some more concessions. Also, they had a video camera focus on everyone in the audience, and you had a chance to wave to the big screen! Everyone seemed to have a blast with that. Not only were we coming to watch SIX perform, but we were also able to interact with the performers and become part of the show ourselves. The SIX show included remakes of hit songs from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and all the way to the present. They also included patriotic themes as they showed their respect to all those who serve or have served. Throughout the entire show, I was in awe of their amazing talents, and I thoroughly enjoyed this show. 10/10 I would come again. Definitely the best show I have ever seen in Branson. read more

SIX is such a great family show! They are definitely talented. Loved the tribute to their parents. Very touching and made us feel like part of the family. Loved the song Hallelujah! Loved Lynn's songs he does in the beginning of the show. Loved the tribute to Queen. Loved when they went down to 1 microphone and just sang the pure, simple oldies harmonies on the left of the stage in their white jackets. My least favorite part of the show was the modern stuff that they opened the show with. I say stay with what you do best which is the older styles of music. I'd love to hear 1 or 2 barbershop songs, with the pure harmonies. With the older demographic, I bet the barbershop songs would be a big hit. Would love to see Curtis talk more. He has lots of enthusiasm and charisma on stage. Jak was funny, but would liked to have heard more from Curtis. Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us. This is my first trip to Branson, the first show I have seen. I was not disappointed!! Six brothers sing and provide the music accompaniment with their voices, no instruments are used. Their music spans seven decades, starting in the 50's with Do-Wop, and included the Eagles (4 decades right there), Beach Boys, and Journey. The six brothers are from a family of 10 brothers. Their mother died when she was 52, and the tribute song written and sung by one of the brothers will touch your heart. "Proud to be an American" brought the house to their feet. Wasn't sure what to expect but really enjoyed the show. SIX is the six oldest brothers from a family of ten brothers and they perform songs a cappella from the last 75 years. We absolutely LOVE to go and watch SIX perform. We go every year and sometimes more when we bring guests to Branson with us. We love the uniqueness that every show is a bit different. For my special needs son's birthday, they personally announced it and welcomed him to the show. He had a blast with that performance. Why have I never heard of these guys? First cabin all the way. Every aspect of the show was stellar. My friend sitting beside me was shocked to find out that even the amazing percussion and drum sounds were produced by the human voice. Huge vocal harmonies and great solos too. Six brothers were on the Osmond Show at one point. The sounds they make are unreal. One segment is movie clips. Their dancing and is great. They are trying to alps appeal to the younger crowd with their Justin Bieber take. They also snap pics of the crowd en masse and post on Facebook.
