Finally tried the Sitch! It was a pleasant experience. Love the flashback in time seeing the hanging colored bulbs on the ceiling reminiscent of the old Marz bar. The vibe is still awesome. They offer fun cocktails and smaller bites for food. They are LGBT friendly and the owner is the same owner of Dish.
We tried the caramelized onion dip, potato nachos (added braised pork) and a couple of the sliders. The homemade buttermilk crackers with the dip were Amazing! The nachos were also very fresh and legit. Potatoes offered a nice twist instead of chips (nacho plate was full--just didn't snap a pic until we started munching). The sliders were okay, I tried the KFC, but I wouldn't say it was spectacular and for $14 three sliders would be better than two.
Drinks were overall okay, I just wasn't super impressed with their version of the old fashioned. Ice block was great, but no cherry at all, and just not the typical spirit level/flavor I expect from an old fashioned. My other two drinks were better (a gin ginger one and classic Aperol spritz). Server was great and conversation was fun! Will definitely come back to chill. read more
