Try the Kai-Jeaw-Moo/Goong Sab. It's fried egg with ground pork served over rice with gravy. Very tasty as a breakfast item.

Last year, my friend and I visited Blue Mountain and Collingwood and went to Green Thai Mango Fusion restaurant on our 2nd day there. ----- The Breakdown: Green Thai Mango Fusion |7.5/10 | $14+ I got Spicy Beef Coco which was served at a cute Thai restaurant and the staff was friendly. The food was good I felt the curry could have been richer in taste and beef could have been more flavourful. Follow @debeats_ for more food spots outside Toronto!

Four of us were starving and the alternative was to order takeout and eat in our hotel suite. Enter this venue that was offering takeout for pickup. A quick browse using their online menu and this was our selection: Mango Salad, Papaya Salad, Chicken Curry, Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp, Pad Thai with Shrimp, Sweet & Sour Fish Fillet, Tom Yum Noodle Soup with Seafood, and Crispy Ginger Beef. Total meal was almost $125. It was a 7 km drive to the restaurant. It was already dark out and my son and I finally located this place at the end of a strip mall; the roadside signage was missing several business signs. The storefront venue sign was not lit and the place looked closed. Anyhow, we picked up our takeout order. Overall, the meal was disappointing and maybe the chef wanted to go home or didn't want to work on Christmas Day. Brief points: un-ripened mango, un-ripened papaya, yes the pineapple fried rice was yellow but where was the fruit, fish fillet used looked/tasted like frozen fillets (...Captain Highliner?). Positives: large shrimps, crispy beef, chicken curry, white rice, did I mention large shrimps. Oh well, we were happy to have a hot meal. Merry Christmas!

Beautifully presented. Highly recommended. Take it from a Korean, Taiwanese family. This is our "Pho" place. From Angus all the way to Barrie to Collingwood, we've tried every Pho place and this is definitely our spot. If you don't like the taste of these dishes, it's safe to say that maybe Thai & Viet food isn't for you because they are very good.

They don't have the Pho in Small, Medium, or Large sizes like in other Pho places I have been. It came in as a standard size which is more than satisfactory for an individual to finish. Orders of the Pad Thai dishes also came out in large servings. Our waiter was also visibly active and can be seen trying his best to provide his best service. What I did not like was the actually customer service we received. Communication alone was a little troublesome. We had a request to see if it is possible to have a little more veggies or greens added to our Pad Thai order. There was some mix up and it did not look like the waiter properly understood our request. Our waiter also appeared to always be in a hurry. After getting seated and not even having enough time to look over the menu, the waiter came to ask what our orders were. We responded that we needed some more time. He also was quick to try to remove any of the dishware from our table. It was perfectly understandable to ask to remove some of the appetizer and side dish plates, but it may debatable to instantly remove the main plate. My companion who finished his meal early left to use the washroom when the waiter came to clear his plate without having requested permission. My companion then came back to an empty spot while me and 1 other was left still eating midway through our meal. I believe there are some societal norms that are universal and should transcend cultures such as never assuming, and always asking first. Another example of this was when the waiter came with a pitcher of water and asked who wants a refill. Only one of us gestured back showing a need to refill the glass. The waiter went on and poured water, then just went on to the next person and was about to start filling in the glass. This guest diner did not actually need his glass refilled and told the waiter the same. There are a lot more of these customer service and restaurant management practices that I observed can be corrected and improved. They already have a good variety of food offered in their menu and their serving sizes are also not bad so improving on their shortcomings will make them an establishment worth recommending.
