Place was very highly reviewed and close to our hotel. The waiter gave us menus and told us they were old prices. We had an appetizer of chicken sate which consisted of three skewers. They were a little too fried for my liking. We each had a curry, one yellow one green. We also asked for one Thai iced tea which came in a can which tasted metallic. We told them we did not like it, but she did not take it off the bill. The bill was $98. That is absurd. I live in California, which is incredibly expensive and two small curries and a appetizer probably would've cost about $40 maximum. I'm not sure if they say the menu has old prices to rip off the tourists. Entrees on the menu were about 22 each which is reasonable, acceptable, and expected. That said, the food was fine. It was not exceptional, but it certainly was fine. Portions were small - a scoop of rice in a bowl with a small amount of curry.
As an aside, water was only served in bottles and when we we asked for tap water were told it is not available. we reminded them that they had it in the sink and they grudgingly brought us a very small carafe of water. read more
