I got the chicken sandwich, their staple sandwich and I was a big fan. Would recommend getting the twiny sauce and the garlic sauce as well. Was quite a flavorful sandwich and the staff even added extra pickles after I joked it. The bread is nice and crispy and the chicken came out hot. My friends loved their salami sandwich. I would note that the sandwiches can be a bit messy, we had a few bread crumbs and pieces of lettuce fall out while eating and the sauce does start to drip. We ended up coming back for more sandwiches later in our trip as our go to quick eat spot that is inexpensive. A majority of the restaurants on this particular street were insanely expensive. We just wanted a quick lunch before we got back to exploring. The brownie was yummy too, not too greasy and not dry either. The shop itself was also nice, very small but elegantly decorated with brightly colored paintings on the wall. The shopkeeper is a polite older gentleman who spoke English well and patiently explained to me what my options are since it was my first time in his shop. He also offered me a take away bag before I asked for one. His pleasant attitude makes me want to go back and buy more sandwiches from him. TIP - Migg's is a small family operated shop, so cash only, no cards accepted. Also, call ahead to make sure the owner is not off on holiday so you don't trek over and end up walking away hungry like I did last week.

I really like that there were some solid choices if I didn't want to eat meat that day.) I asked which was recommended, and went with the tuna sandwich (the nice man helping me, presumably the owner, said "I've been making these for 26 years, so..."). I also grabbed a chocolate brownie with walnuts. Both together were CHF 11, which is quite a good price for lunch in Zurich. The verdict: absolutely completely and totally delicious. :-) The tuna sandwich was on a fresh focaccia bread that was soft and tasty. The tuna mix itself was excellent and generous. And the brownie was divine and clearly very fresh, not greasy, a perfect texture. Checked the menu lately and found out that they got oysters on it. Came in yesterday for a pre-lunch snack. The menu is quite interesting. Red and White Wine, Prosecco, Champagne or beer. Deluxe-Sandwiches, Pasta, Beef Tartar, Salmon, Gourmet-Platter, Sushi etc. Prices are surprisingly reasonable. But we came for the Oysters that day, just for a snack. To our surprise, three Oysters with a glass of white wine only costs 16.- here. That's quite cheap. And now the best part. These are Loch Fyne Oysters from Scotland. Some of the best Oysters we've ever tried (been at Loch Fyne a bunch of years ago). Beaten only by Moran's Oysters near Galway. So this here is a fantastic deal. The wine that came with is the Spanish Basa (white), another favourite of ours. And all for this price. We were quite thrilled. Oysters taste fresh, were opened before our eyes. Nice size, good flavours, tender. The Salmon Sandwich we had the other week was a nice surprise as well. Radish spread on the bread, topped with a really good load of high quality salmon. Nice texture, nice color, nice flavour and worth the money. Staff is nice and friendly and the atmosphere here quite relaxing. One might think it's a bit strange being located in the middle of the food market. But this is quite the luxury food market down here, the atmosphere is quiet and calm, the setting tasteful and modern. A nice place to hang out to enjoy a drink and some oysters or some other food.
